Question 3 - Was the silence of Jesus true or false?

Matthew 27:12 NKJV - "And while He was being accused by the chief priests and elders, He answered nothing."
Matthew 27:13-14 NKJV - "Then Pilate said to Him, "Do You not hear how many things they testify against You?" But He answered him not one word, so that the governor marveled greatly."
John 18:19-20 NKJV - "The high priest then asked Jesus about His disciples and His doctrine. Jesus answered him, "I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet, and in secret I have said nothing."
John 18:21-23 NKJV - "Why do you ask Me? Ask those who have heard Me what I said to them. Indeed they know what I said." And when He had said these things, one of the officers who stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, "Do You answer the high priest like that?" Jesus answered him, "If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil; but if well, why do you strike Me?"
John 18:33-38 NKJV - "Then Pilate entered the Praetorium again, called Jesus, and said to Him, "Are You the King of the Jews?" Jesus answered him, "Are you speaking for yourself about this, or did others tell you this concerning Me?" Pilate answered, "Am I a Jew? Your own nation and the chief priests have delivered You to me. What have You done?" Jesus answered, "My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, My servants would fight, so that I should not be delivered to the Jews; but now My kingdom is not from here." Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice."
Answer:
The high priest then asked Jesus about His doctrine. Jesus answered him, “I spoke openly to the world. I always taught in synagogues and in the temple, where the Jews always meet and in secretI have said nothing.” But, He did not say about His disciples that they so and so persons and they are from so and so address and families. And also He did not say about His doctrines.
From this, it is confirmed that He was silent to say for their questions.
When Pilate asked Him, “Are you the king of the Jews?” Jesus answered him,” Are you speaking for yourself on this or did others tell you this about Me?
But He could not give the true answer to the question and was silent, is the inner meaning.
No gospel writer explained about these topics. So, it is correct to say that He did not answer him a single word.
