Question 50 - ‘Hold him’, means it was not to cling!

John 20:17 NKJV - "Jesus said to her, "Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, 'I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.' "
Matthew 28:1, 9 NKJV - "Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. ... And as they went to tell His disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, "Rejoice!" So they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him."
Answer:
In Matthew 28:1-9, when they came and held Him by the feet and worshiped Him, He said in John 20:17 “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father”.
Later He might have ascended to Lord God and met them again on their way as in Matt 28:1-9.

Do you think it will take very long time for Jesus to see His Father with his glorious body? What is there to criticize here?
