Psalm 30:5 NKJV - "For His anger is but for a
moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy
comes in the morning."
Numbers 32:13 NKJV -
""So the LORD's anger was aroused against Israel, and He made them
wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation that had
done evil in the sight of the LORD was gone."
Answer:
The Lord God handed the Israelites as the slaves to
the Philistines, Egyptians, etc., heathen countries according to their
unlimited sin. After 40 years when their minds were enlighten by intolerable
woes i.e., the fury of the Lord, they pleaded the Lord. Thus, they completed
one minute time of the Lord. How? A man waits for the arrival of the train on
the railway platform, and thinks every minute as one hour for his urgent deeds
by his enthusiasm. At that time, he ridiculed the train, time, the one, who
drives the train, the department of railway, etc., in his mind and moves to and
fro without peace on the railway platform.
