Mark 10:27, Matthew 19:26 NKJV - "But Jesus
looked at them and said, "With men it is impossible, but not with God; for
with God all things are possible.""
Genesis 17:1 NKJV - "When Abram was ninety-nine
years old, the LORD appeared to Abram and said to him, "I am Almighty
God; walk before Me and be blameless."
John 3:35 NKJV - ""The Father loves the Son,
and has given all things into His hand."
Judges 1:19 NKJV -
"So the LORD was with Judah. And they drove out the mountaineers,
but they could not drive out the inhabitants of the lowland, because
they had chariots of iron."
Mark 6:5 NKJV -
"Now He could do no mighty work there, except that He laid His
hands on a few sick people and healed them."
Answer:
Is it easy to pull the
chariots which are made of iron?
Here, what is the meaning in using
words “chariots of iron”? The chariots of iron mean “the shield of the Lord God”.
The inner meaning in this is that the people living in lowland as described in
Judges 1:19 were already in divine faith. So they could not drive out these
people as Lord protected them.
According to Mark 6:5, Jesus
could do no mighty works there, because they offended Him by not believing in
Him even though he healed the sick. Healing sick is a great deed, they should
have believed in Him but they did not. So, He was not willing to do the mighty
works.
In this, there is no meaning
that the mighty work is impossible for the Lord God.
