A person exists, he has so many qualities. And also, we are calling according their qualities.  Likewise, the authors of the Holy Bible also called the Lord God with different names. Amongst them God of peace, and the man of war are also present.
He is the God of peace for the people, who do the good deeds. He is the man of war for the people, who do wicked deeds.
When Philistine kept the Ark of the Covenant in their temple, Dagon, the head of Dagon both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only the torso of Dagon was left of it. From this, what did we understand? The Lord God is the man of war. Here, He did not do any harm to the righteous person. So, he is the man of peace.
When Egyptians tortured the divine nation terribly by changing them as slaves, the Lord Jehovah saved His nation by immersing the soldiers of the enemies along with their chariots in the waters, because he is a man of war.
The Lord Jehovah is the man of peace. So, 2 Corinthians 5:19, “God was in Christ reconciling the world to himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation”. Refer Colossians 10:19-20.
