Question 35 - The strength of the soldiers of Solomon!

1 Kings 4:26 NKJV - "Solomon had forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen."
2 Chronicles 9:25 NKJV - "Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen whom he stationed in the chariot cities and with the king at Jerusalem."
Answer:
If you read these verses carefully, you can notice that both numbers are correct. 1 kings 4:26 is saying that there were 40,000 stalls for horses only. 2 Chronicles 9:25 is saying that there were 4000 stalls to hold horses and chariots together. From this, one can understand that there were 40,000 smaller stalls to hold horses and 4000 bigger stalls to hold horses and chariots together. These bigger stalls were probably meant for quick setup in case of war.
It is also possible that there was a scribal error. In those days, the Holy Bible was written by the scriber without printing machines. These hands written scrolls were again re-written by another scriber. This re-written hand written scroll was again re-written by another scriber. In these writings, it would have been mistaken 4 thousand instead of 40 thousand or 40 thousand instead of 4 thousand.
These questions are asked from the spiritual blindness and with the knowledge of dark evil power, but are not asked reasonably. Where is the reason in the atheist?
Instead of asking the valuable questions like, what did the Lord the creator say? What way did our Lord His Son, Jesus Christ showed us? What is the way of the Lord? What is the destination of human beings? Instead, you are asking questions which are worthless, how many soldiers and horses he had?

You are atheist; you have the knowledge of modern civilization and scientific knowledge. Then how did you commit so many print mistakes in the book of the Bible handbook in these days?
