Question 35 - Oh, Pilate interrogated Jesus after the crucifixion!

Mark 15:25 NKJV - Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him.
John 19:14-15 NKJV - Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, and about the sixth hour. And he said to the Jews, "Behold your King!" But they cried out, "Away with Him, away with Him! Crucify Him!" Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar!"
Answer:
The answer, which is given to the question No. 32, is sufficient to this question. The incident, which was written in John 19:14, 15, happened on the sixth hour of the Preparation Day of the Passover starts from morning 6’0 clock. So, the sixth hour of the Preparation Day of the Passover is equal to mid- day 12’0 clock afternoon now a day.

The incident, which is written in Mark 15:25, happened in third hour. Mark 15:25, “Now it was the third hour, and they crucified Him”. Here, we must understand that the time is calculated after the midday (It was the third hour after they crucified the Lord. It means they crucified 12’0 clock (midday). After that, the third hour means 3’0clock after they crucified Him). So, it is about the 9th hour from the Preparation Day of the Passover. They were the estimated times of the gospel writers, because there was no exact watches like in these days.
