Question 10 - What is the need of baptism to the one that loves?

John 3:5 NKJV - "Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God."
1 John 4:7 NKJV - "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God."
Answer:
What is the meaning in, “To born of the spirit?” How can a man, who had flesh, born of the spirit, which has no flesh? What are the qualities of spirit? What are the fruits of spirit? Galatians 5:22, “But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, long suffering, kindness, goodness, faithful- ness, gentleness, self-control etc.”
Colossians 3:14, “But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.” What is the connection to the perfection? The connection is to wear the love only.
Ephesians 3:19, “To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God”. This is the sacrificing love.
So, what is the meaning in, “To be born of the spirit”? Each and every one, who loves, is born of spirit and of God”.

So, Baptism is the way of expressing and accepting the unconditional love of Jesus and promising in front of community to take this unconditional love into heart. In Baptism, a person is born again of water and Spirit and accepted as son of God.
