Preface
So many authors could write many
kinds of literatures regarding Christian philosophy. But, the Holy Bible,
being two parts i.e., the Old Testament and the New Treatment, appears easy to
hold in our hands, contains the hidden secrets in the divine plan which are
beyond the limits of the earth and sky. In reality, the kind of divine secrets
which were revealed in the Holy Bible are not written in any other book or
literature.
Dear readers! Moses, who was unaware of God, had no divine
knowledge, and became the author of first five books in the Holy Bible. Merely
God’s motive, will, knowledge, provocation, selection, surrounding, etc., were
performed on behalf of Moses by the Lord. The state of the waters, the Spirit
of God hovering over the face of the deep, the light which was delivered by the
word of the Spirit of God, the creatures, creation and the deeds of the
creation, were formed through this light and word; thereafter, he could write
about the formation of the man, and the formation of the woman, the tree of
Life in the Garden of Eden, the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the
cunning serpent, etc. Thereafter, he could write the deceit of the serpent on
the woman, the entry of the first couple into the sin, the enmity among the
five elements, the pollution of atmosphere, diversity in the creation and the
first couple were driven out by God. Likewise, he could write about the
generation who came from first couple, the sin that spread along with the
generation, and the result which was a great massacre through the floods by the
Lord God. The Ark, which was constructed according to the divine plan through
Noah, gave the salvation for the family of Noah through this Ark.
Dear readers! All these
happened some thousands of years ago before the birth of Moses. These
incidents were revealed to Moses by the Lord and made him to write during those
illiterate days, in which there were no pen, paper, pencil and a type writer.
The books, which were written in that situation, were first five books in the
Holy Bible.
Dear readers! In those days,
there were no preachers for Moses to teach him. The Lord God was the one, who
trained Moses in literacy, divine knowledge, scripture, etc. God trained Moses,
and revealed him the secrets in the construction of first five books in those
days directly. Amongst them was the history of the Garden of Eden. This book
is written by relying upon the secrets in the Garden of Eden.

The beginning
How was the God in the past? What existed
at first? Was it the tree or the seed? Was the life first or the living being
first? Was the creator first or the creation first? The reply we get is – If
the tree isn’t there, we do not get the seed, if the life isn’t there, the
living beings don’t possess mobility and if the creator isn’t there, the
creation doesn’t exist.
Revelation
1:8” I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord Jesus Christ. In saying ‘Alpha (the first)’, he is the first among the creation
of the heaven, the earth, the space, the planetary zones, the galaxies, the
constellations, the stars, the celestial aurora, the oceans, the fire, the
wind, etc., such creations. So, the first is the creator God. He is the first,
the Primeval Supreme God. As he is the Prime Supreme God, He had created the
whole creatures on this earth including the human being. From this, we realize
that the God is the first the Prime. The creator God is the first one. But, let
us learn how the Lord Christ becomes the first.
Among
the Holy Scriptures, in the first ever is, Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” It is written so. From
this, we understand that the God had existed even before the creation. The very
same God had created the earth and the sky and had given a shape and form to
this whole creation. Genesis 1:2” Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the
deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.” From this, we
realize that the creator had existed well before the creation. Hitherto, the
verse, “Darkness was over the face of the waters.” This verse emancipates the
natural state of the creation and the prior state of the creation. From this, we
understand that the creation did not have a proper form. “The Spirit of the God
had fluttered on the surface of the that, before the creation, the creator
God’s Spirit fluttered on the surface of water which means the creator God’s
Spirit itself also was just like the creation of that period, it was without
form and to the eyes of that world it was visible as void. From this verse, it
is clear that the Lord Almighty, the creator had a strong determination to give
shape and form to this whole creation and the creatures as his Spirit hovered
on the dark surface of the deep waters.
There are
three strong reasons why the creator had a strong commitment to create this
creation and the human beings, all the creatures and every believer must learn
the three reasons in this.
The first reason: An angel named Lucifer who was the first
born of God, due to his narcissistic vanity, revolted against the Father and
was cursed and thrown out of the Heaven along with his companions and was
fluttering on the dark waters without any form as said in the Genesis 1:2, then
the Lord took pity on them, He too hovered on the surface of that unfathomable
waters, and lifted up the hidden earth inside that waters and the father made
to spread his son’s angelic luminaries, dried it, decorated this complete
earth with whole flora and fauna, multitude of birds communities, rivers and
streams, mountains and ravines, planetary alliances and stellar constellations
etc., Finally, the Father, the Lord bestowed this earth to those angel’s attendants
to wander as inheritance. Luke 4:6 “And he said to him, “I will give you all
their authority and splendor; It has been given to me, and I can give it to anyone I want
to.” The governments give food, bedding and accommodation, along with medical
services, enough suitable places to wander about and also find out their
welfare and take care of the inmates in Jail. In this same way, for Lucifer and
his angels’ attendants, this whole earth was created to wander for their
punishment.
The second reason: The Spirit of life which was a part of the
Supreme Spirit, the God himself and which resided in him and was savoring the
colossal abode had an ambition to rejoice by being filled on the entire earth
which is created by God in the visible form and savor the pleasure by wandering
on this creation. And for this purpose, this Spirit of life had made an appeal
to the Supreme Spirit to let it go from the Heaven on to the earth on a visit
to explore the earth and let him wander in the visual form. 1Peter 2:11, Hebrew
11:13-16 According to the request of the Lord Jehovah, the Lord God had created
the Human body, breathed the Spirit of Life into it.
The third reason is the staunch aspiration of the Supreme
Spirit himself. That is, He was not content with the nursing of the angels and
their attributions and eulogiums. He had a strong aspiration that he should
create another world in squarely with the invisible Heaven with the entire
similar amenities and comforts in the visual forms, there a staunch aspiration
arose in the Lord God to savour the attributions and eulogiums of his
associates in his Spirit.
Due to these three reasons, the Father Lord Almighty had
created this world. So, The Primordial Lord God had created this first creation,
the first ever deed he had performed was the one mentioned in Genesis 1:3. “And God said, Let there be light: and
there was light.” Then the Lord God, who is the Holy Spirit, had spelt one word
first of all. When he had said, “Let there be light: and there was light.” This word existed as an emblem of the
Lord Jesus Christ. We learn that this word existed with the God in the
beginning, and that was spoken by the God who was the Holy Spirit. It is
written that, according to word, immediately after this word had created the
entire creation, the Lord God had scrutinized for everything to be in perfect
condition and refined as dreamed by the God. While creating the Universe, he
must have viewed well and done, mustn’t he? Again, why is it specially mentioned
as seen? Here, the God in the Spirit form spelt one word. This word of God the Lord
Jesus Christ had created the whole world completely ecstatically beautiful.
Later, the God who was the Spirit saw this and said, “That is good”.
Prior to these words were
first ever spoken by God, nothing was created in this creation. That was why,
it is written, John 1:1-5 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the
beginning. Through him all things
were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the
light of all mankind. The light shines in the
darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” This word was the
first thing that emitted from God in the form of light and shone brightly in
the darkness and created the whole universe. In this way, the Lord Jesus Christ
was the first one and had created the whole universe.
State of Satan before this creation
Dear readers! We already know, even
then, there is a need to know once again about him in this book, because the
names, i.e., the Lord God, the tree of Life, the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil, Adam, Eve, serpent, Satan, etc., will come frequently. But, there is
no complete previous history of the Satan in the Garden of Eden. But, we can
read the deeds of the Satan as well as the deeds through the Satan in the
history of the Garden of Eden from this book. But, if we know real history of
the Satan ahead of the original topics, it will be easy to grasp the topics in
this book to the maximum extent.
Dear readers! We already know that there is a Heaven.
In this, the Satan also known as morning star and Lucifer was the first dynasty
in the proximity of Lord and made the sweet melodious music for the Lord. We
can notice that Satan was seeing the Lord face to face as he made the sweet
melodious music to the Lord, but, we as humans cannot see the glorified light
of God with our eyes. Even Seraphim, the great angels in the proximity of the
Lord also are not in a position to see the light of the Lord. We can read in
the Holy Bible that they covered their eyes with their wings. “In the
year that king Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted
up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each
one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet,
and with two he flew” ...Isaiah
6: 1-2. From this, even these Seraphim, who stood above, in the
proximity of the Lord, could not see the light of the Lord; they covered their
eyes with their wings. But, it is not written that the Satan closed his eyes
whenever he plays music. Likewise, it is also not written in the book of Job
that the Satan covered his eyes when he used to meet the Lord. Job 1: 6-12 and
Job 2: 1-3; the reason for this is the privilege, which is given to the Satan
by the Lord. This may be astonishing to us. But, it is true.
Dear
readers! What is the inner meaning of the morning star, the Lucifer, who had
such great privilege, was changed as the Satan? Let us know about this
clearly. Isaiah wrote about the thought of the morning star the Lucifer in
Isaiah 14:14 “I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the
Most High”. The reason to change this morning star, the Lucifer to Satan is
this thought only. That means, he himself thought that he is equal to the Most
High. After, he thought and after he changed into Satan, as in “How you are
fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the
ground, you who weakened the nations! Isaiah 14:12. Like this, the Satan was
fallen down from the heavens. If we think that where this Satan was fallen
down, we know that he fell down to the sheol i.e., the bottomless pit. “Yet
you shall be brought down to sheol, to the lowest depths of the Pit” ....
Isaiah 14:15,
Dear
readers! The Lord God did not keep the Satan idle after he was thrown out of
Heaven. The Lord God created a work even to the Satan also. And he gave the
authority of temptation to the Satan. We can read from Job 1st chapter
to the end of 2nd chapter. “So the Lord said to Satan, ‘Behold, all that
he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person’” .... Job 1:12.
In this way, the Lord God gave authority over Job to the Satan. And also, “So
the Lord said to Satan, ‘Behold, he is in your hand’” ...Job 2:6, “Calling a
bird of prey from the east, the man who executes My counsel, from a far country”
...... Isaiah 46:11.
We must grasp the truth that the Satan, who was
described in the book of Isaiah as the bird of prey, was an angel, who fulfills
the deeds of the Lord God. The creation of the Garden of Eden and its history
is one among the deeds of God. Likewise, everything in the Garden of Eden was
created by the deeds of the Lord God. Only one, Satan was not created in the
history of Eden. From this, we know that the Satan was formed well before the
creation of Garden Eden.
We
know through Isaiah 46:11 that each and every deed of Satan must be according
to the determination of God. “Calling a bird of prey from the east, the man
who executes My counsel, from a far country” .... Isaiah 46:11. From this, we
must grasp that the Satan does not do any deed without counsel of the Lord God.
This spirit of Satan is appointed to tempt us by the Lord God. “These things I
have spoken to you, that in Me you may have peace. In the world you will have
tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world”.... John 16:33. “For
whatever is born of God overcomes the world” ....1 John 5:4-5
God wants us to get victory over the Satan, his deeds,
world and its deeds. Whoever overcomes the Satan, his deeds, world and its
deeds, has the chance to enter in the heaven. So, Satan, who was appointed for
us, is an obstacle only. So, the Lord God practically uses the Satan for
temptation of humans starting from Adam. Even, the Satan tempted His Son, our
Savior, and the Lord Jesus Christ three times.
Dear
readers! Here, there is no need to know the complete deeds of Satan. But, let
us understand the Satan’s deeds in the history of Eden through this book. And
also let us know the plight of Adam and Eve, and how the Lord God existed in the
Garden of Eden step by step from next chapters.
The first man
“And the Lord God formed man of
the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and
man became a living being”.... Genesis 2:7.
Dear
readers! The Lord God, who being the Spirit thought to create the man.
Likewise, we can also read in the Holy Bible that the Lord God created the
man. “Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image according to Our
likeness’”. “So God created man in His Own image; in the image of God He
created him; male and female He created them” .... Genesis 1: 26-28,
Dear
readers! Let us know the most prominent physical and spiritual values of man’s
life in biblical way. The mode of creation of the vast universe by the Lord
God is different; the construction of creation is again different; the creation
of the living creatures is different, how the earth’s natural set up is also
different, the mode of formation of man is different; all these are
inter-related with one another. Every creature in this creation is made by His
word. That means this creation happened according to the word, motive, will,
decision and plan of the Lord. That means the Lord God favored life to the
earth through His word. Along with the trees, beasts, birds, and cattle, the
earth is moving through its life. For this, especially the science Geography
is formed in these days. The scientists have discovered that the earth moves
around the sun. So, the earth has its movement. Because of the earth’s
movement, the morning, afternoon, evening, and night are forming. The earth
gained energy and produced the trees, grass, fruits, crops etc., according to
the word of the Lord. So, the earth produced the earthly fruits through its
life, which was favored by the Lord. In this way, the earth was appointed for
the needs of man by the Lord and became the cause for three types of patrons.
They are,
1. The food for
man’s need
2. The water for
the existence of life
3. Air, the most
essential need for the body of man.
In this way, the water, food and
air are most prominent for the life of man. These three are favored to man on
the earth by the Lord God. Likewise, the Lord God expected physical and
spiritual fruits from man, who was formed through the breath of life by His own
hand. Let us know about this through the Scripture. The fruits, which the
earth ought to give to man, is three i.e., air, water, and food. Likewise,
man, who is fed fruits by the earth and the Lord, must yield nine fruits. They
are spiritually six and physically three.
Physically three are Faithfulness,
Love and Hope.
Spiritually six are Virtue,
Devotion, Peace, Kindness, Meekness and self-control.
Man, who is living by grace of God must
be grateful to the Lord. But, if he remains ungrateful, he will be counted as
a menial compared to all creatures.
Dear readers! Let us come to know the most prominent
aspect in the life of a man, who was formed from the dust.
1. Making man’s body from dust
2.The Lord God breathed the breath of life into his
nostrils, gave a name to the man as the living being and consecrated him in
this vast universe.
Dear
readers! Let us know the Lord’s thought about the man before his formation.
“Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according
to Our likeness’” .... Genesis 1:26.
The inner meaning, which we ought to be known in this,
is the image of divinity is not a single one, but multifold. Here, by saying,
“Our image and Our likeness”, we must grasp that this sentence is not a single
one, but multifold. The word, “Our”, is not singular, but it is plural. So,
here we must grasp that there were some more persons, in addition to the Spirit
of the Lord. Before the construction of the earth, God, being the Spirit,
said,
“Let there be light”; and there was light......Genesis
1:3
This is the first deed of the Lord. The Lord God
divided the light from the darkness. Here, we must grasp that this light is
the Lord Jesus Christ.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were
made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was
life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it” ......John 1: 1-5,
From this, the Lord Jesus Christ performed His deeds as
the light before the formation of this creation. In this way, when the Lord,
being the spirit, mingled with the Lord Jesus Christ, the Light, created
everything in the creation. We can read in the Holy Bible that the Holy Spirit
was satisfied and made it to appear as good to the Lord. In this way, the Lord
was in trinity. So, the Lord God said, “Our”, instead of “My”.
Dear
readers! There is a need for us to know about His image and His likeness. The
image and likeness of the Lord is the virtue and purity.
“Pensive peace with all men, and holiness, without which
no one will see the Lord.” .... Hebrews 12:14.
From this, we must grasp that the holiness is based on
virtue and purity. So, without virtue and purity, no one will see the Lord.
Not only that, we can read in the Holy Bible that the Lord selected each and every
one basing on the virtue and purity only.
For ex:-Genesis 6:9, Noah was a just man, perfect in his
generation.” So, the Lord God selected Noah according to his virtue and purity
and made him to make the Ark. Likewise, Lot, Abraham, Job, etc. In this way,
we have the fortune to be selected by the Lord through the virtue and to see
the Lord through the purity.
Dear
readers! Because Adam was formed of virtue and purity as the image and
likeness of the Lord, he could see the Lord directly and talk to him. And
also, He could christen all the creation when the Lord was near to him. We
already know through Hebrews 12:14 that the virtue and purity, as the image and
likeness of the Lord, was in Adam, so he could see the Lord. Thus, Adam saw the
Lord and talked to the Lord. Here, we must grasp from the Scripture that the
Lord God formed Adam with His likeness and His image. So, even though the body
of Adam was formed of the dust, we must grasp that the base for the formation
of Adam is the virtue and purity as His image and His likeness.
Is Adam made of dust taken from Garden of Eden?
“And the Lord God formed man of
the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man,
became a living being.” .... Genesis 2:7.
Dear readers! It is clearly said in our original
sentence that the construction of the body of Adam was formed from the dust of
the ground. But, the Garden of Eden was also constructed on the earth. That
means the Garden of Eden was also on the ground. Here, we must grasp that the
Lord God planted the Garden eastward on the earth in Eden. So, the
construction of the body of Adam was formed from the dust of the ground. Even
then, which dust was used to construct the body of Adam by the Lord God? Was it
from the Garden of Eden or the earth? Because,
“And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow
that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was also in
the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil” ....
Genesis 2:9.
Here it is said that every tree in the Garden of Eden
was formed out of the ground.
“The
Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He
had formed” .... Genesis 2:8.
Suppose, if Adam was formed in the Garden of Eden by the
Lord then Adam was already in the Garden of Eden. So, there was no need to the
Lord to put Adam in the Garden of Eden specially. According to the verse, the
construction of the body of Adam was made outside the Garden of Eden. So, the
Lord God formed the body of man from the dust which is taken from outside the
Garden.
Another
proof is, “For dust you are, and to dust you shall return” .... Genesis 3:19.
The Lord God already knows that the
man is weak. But, the Lord God gave entry to Adam in His Garden and loved him
much. So, God commanded the man, saying, “Of every tree of the Garden you may
freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not
eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die” .... Genesis 2:
16-17.
The Lord God loved Adam so much and told him about the
secret of the fruit amongst the divine secrets to Adam for he wanted him to
live. But, Adam could not retain the love of the Lord God for long and ate the
fruit which was forbidden by the Lord. He yielded to the death by the curse of
the Lord. If the Lord God buried the body of Adam in the Garden of Eden, it
will be polluted. So, the Lord God, who knew of this before creating Adam, did
so by taking the dust outside the garden on the earth. So, the Lord God drove
out the cursed Adam from the holy Garden. From this, we must grasp that the
Garden of Eden is not a birth place of Adam. It is confirmed that Adam was not
formed from the dust of the Garden of Eden otherwise Adam would have fought
with the Lord God days together like Jacob. Because the Lord God formed the
body of Adam outside the Garden of Eden, Adam had no right in the entry of the
Garden of Eden. So, he could not argue with the Lord.
Dear readers! From this, we know clearly through the
Scripture that the construction of the body of Adam was formed outside the
Garden of Eden on the base of the Lord’s image and likeness the virtue and
purity. But, here we must know that his spirit is the lamp for his body, which
was formed from the dust of the ground.
The Garden of Eden and its construction
As in Genesis 2:8-14, the Garden of
Eden was planted eastward in Eden on the earth by the Lord God. And the Lord
God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food out of
the ground. Along with them, the Lord God planted the tree of life amidst the
garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The specialty of the
Garden of Eden is the tree of life, which resembles to the Lord Christ; He was
in the Garden along with every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for
food. Even though the Garden of Eden was planted eastward, we have the need to
know the exact place of the Garden. It is very hard to say about this matter,
because it is not written anywhere in the Holy Bible that the Garden of Eden
was planted in so and so place. But, it is written that the Garden was in
Eden.
Where was the Eden on the earth? We
do not know the exact place. In these days, we do have the maps of the world.
We determine the place according to the maps. For ex: -if one says, where is
India? We can say that the India is in so and so place. In those days, there
were no such facilities. So, it is hard to say about this matter. Not only
that, the names of certain places of those days could not be identified exactly
in these days. Their names are changed according to the situation. We forget
their names after some period. But, these days our Government introduced the
subject ‘History’ and makes the people to memorize the past history. We can
say the past to the extent of the written history only. But, it is hard to imagine.
When we talk about the history; we must understand that the Holy Bible is also
a history. The history of the Garden of Eden was written in Holy Bible. So,
the Holy Bible is also a historical book.

readers! Here, if we imagine some extent, we try to imagine where about of the
place of the Garden of Eden!
“Now a river went out of Eden to water the Garden, and
from there it parted and became four river heads. The name of the first is
Pishon; it is the one which encompasses the whole land of Havilah, where there
is gold. And the gold of that land is good. Bdellium and the onyx stone are
there. The name of the second river is Gihon; it is the one which encompasses
the whole land of Cush. The name of the third river is Hiddekel; it is the one
which goes toward the east of Assyria. The fourth river is the Euphrates” ....
Genesis 2: 10-14.
From this, we know clearly that the birth place of above
said four rivers are from the Garden of Eden.
Dear
readers! I heard about the river Euphrates and Hiddekel i.e., Tigris among the
four rivers. The presence of these two indicates the presence of Pishon and
Havilah are also present near the Euphrates and Tigris or Hiddekel. Suppose,
the names of these two rivers may be changed, even then Eden is the birth place
of these four rivers. But, we must know that they are separated and aloof from
one another according to flow. As in Genesis 2: 10-14, these four rivers gave
the water for four different places. Suppose, if the birth place of four rivers
are aloof from one another, there is no problem to say that the Garden of Eden
was the biggest. Suppose, if the birth place of four rivers are near to one
another, now also there is no problem to say, because we must grasp that the
Garden of Eden was a small one. From this, we can understand the exact place
of the Garden of Eden on the earth to the maximum extent. It is written in Holy
Bible that the birth place of these four rivers is the Eden, because God
planted His garden in Eden, refers Genesis 2: 8. Now, the name of Eden exists
or not, the same place in those days was called “The Eden”. So, the Garden
which was planted by God was also called as the Garden of Eden.
What else is there in the Garden of Eden apart from
every tree good for food, the tree of life, the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil and head of four rivers? If we think about this, we know that there
were animals and birds also. “Out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast
of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to Adam to see what he
would call them” .... Genesis 2:19-20. From this, we must grasp that the
animals and birds were also present in the Garden of Eden. We can read in the
3rd chapter
of Genesis about the serpent that was moving among the trees and talking with
the woman. Thereafter, we know in Genesis 2:22 that Lord formed the Eve and
kept her as a helper to Adam in the Garden of Eden.
Dear
readers! Not only Adam, Eve, animals, birds, every tree good for food, the
tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil, there were two
invisible power in the Garden of Eden. They were the Lord God, Jehovah and the
power of darkness, Satan. After violation of God’s command, it is written that
God drove out the man and woman from the Garden of Eden. And the Lord God
placed cherubim at the east of the Garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which
turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of life. For this reason, the
human race cannot enter in the Garden of Eden directly. Hence what do we know?
There is a gate to the Garden of Eden east ward. We know about this gate from
Genesis 3:24. If this gate was not there, there was no need to guard the Garden
of Eden. This is the embodiment history of the Garden of Eden.
Dear readers! Thus, where is the Garden of Eden now?
Even though the Garden of Eden is mentioned here and there in the Holy Bible in
Genesis, there is no informative narration about this. But, our savior, the
Lord Jesus Christ favored those, who overcame this world and Satan to live in
the Garden of Eden even though Adam and Eve lost the Garden of Eden. So,
whoever competes for the virtue and purity of the kingdom of the Lord, and if
he gets victory, he can eat the fruits of the tree of life. Where was the Tree
of Life before? In Garden of Eden. Where is the Tree of Life now? In Paradise,
as Revelation 2:7 says “To the one who is victorious, I will give the right to eat from the
tree of life, which is in the paradise of God.” If we think
spiritually, we must understand that this Garden of Eden is in Paradise.
Dear
readers! This Garden has seen both the stages of man i.e., from the highest
stage of man to the lowest stage. So, let all of us all fight this world and
its deeds and overcome Satan and his temptation, and gain the Garden of Eden as
our inheritance! Amen.
The tree of life
“And out of the ground the Lord God
made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree
of life was also in the midst of the Garden and the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil”.....Genesis 2: 9.
Dear
readers! It is written in above verse that the Lord God planted the tree of
life along with all the trees amidst the Garden of Eden. But, even though the
Lord Jehovah planted the tree of life from the ground, the Lord did not inform
Adam that the tree of life is the fore symbol for the Lord Jesus; and also He
did not inform that whoever eats the fruits of this tree live forever. But, the
Lord God commanded the man, saying ”Of every tree of the garden you may freely
eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for
in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”.....Genesis 2: 16-17. Thereafter,
when the Lord christened every animal and bird through Adam, He did not inform
about the tree of life that whoever eats the fruits of this tree will live
forever. Let it be, when the Lord took the woman from the rib of Adam, then
also He did not inform about the tree of life. The Satan and the Satan -
entered serpent also did not know that the tree of life was in the Garden of
Eden, because both the serpent and Satan thought about the tree of knowledge of
good and evil, but they did not teach about the tree of life to the woman.
From this, the Satan and the Serpent also did not know that the tree of life
was in the Garden of Eden and whoever ate this fruit will live forever, because
the Lord God hid the secret of the tree of life, but did not reveal to anyone.
Dear readers! Here one great secret is hidden. That is,
there is no need for the Lord God to inform about the tree of life. But, there
was a need for the Lord to inform about the tree of knowledge of good and evil,
because when the Lord formed the man, He did not give death for Adam. And also,
the Lord did not say, “Adam! You will live some period only”. For this reason
only, the first man had no death when he was formed. This means had the man
eaten the fruits of the tree of life, the man would have lived forever.
Suppose, if he did not eat the fruits of the tree of life then also he lives
forever. From this, if man did eat the fruit of the tree of life or if man did
not eat the fruit of the tree of life, the result is same for both cases. That
is, he lives forever. So, the Lord God did not teach about the fruits of the
tree of life to the first man. But, the Lord God informed to the first man
about the tree of knowledge of good and evil, because if the man would have
eaten the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil knowingly or unknowingly, the
result of which is death. So, the Lord God informed the man that you shall not
eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die.
Dear readers! Until the man ate the fruit of the tree of
knowledge of good and evil, the Lord God had no reason to tell man about the
tree of life. But, after the violation of the Lord’s command, the Lord God thought
about the tree of life and guarded the tree of life and blocked the way of the
Garden of Eden. “Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like one
of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put out his hand and take also
of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever - therefore the Lord God sent
him out of the Garden of Eden to till the ground from which he was taken. So he
drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the east of the Garden of Eden,
and a flaming sword which turned every way, to guard the way to the tree of
life”.....Genesis 3: 22-24.
Dear readers! Even though there was no need to the Lord
to tell Adam about the tree of life, but after violation of the Lords command,
the death became inevitable to man. Because of that reason God had the need for
the tree of life to save man’s life from death. So, the Lord God made the
prophets to prophecy about the tree of life i.e. about the Lord Christ, said,
“Look! Whoever walks in the ways of the tree of life, the Lord Christ gets the
everlasting life”. The Lord God made prophets in the Old Testament to inform
about the tree of life the Lord Jesus Christ. Thereafter, this tree of life
incarnated on the earth in the period of the New Testament. The tree of life,
the Lord Jesus also taught in His teachings about Him as the living bread. “I
am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread,
he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I
shall give for the life of the world” .... John 6: 51. Whoever eats My flesh
and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day”.
.... John 6: 54. In this way, the tree of life as the Lord Jesus Christ taught
and established this as last supper and said to his disciples to follow
forever.
Dear readers! Whoever follows the last supper and walks
in His ways and overcomes the world, its deeds, Satan and his deeds, to him,
the Lord gives the fruit of the tree of life. “To him who overcomes I will give
to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of
God”..... Revelation 2: 7.
So, Dear readers! All of us are moving in the Lord’s
ways and are remembering the last supper, which the Lord Christ already
established. Whoever overcomes the world, Satan and his deeds, to him the Lord
God favored the fruits of the tree of life, which was in Paradise. Also, it is
written in the book of proverbs about the ways of the tree of life. “Her
ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of
life to those who take hold of her and happy are all who retain
her”.....Proverbs 3: 17-18. “The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life”, here,
we must grasp that the fulfillment of one man’s desires are not more than the
achievement of Christ...... Proverbs 11:30. “But when the desire comes, it is a
tree of life”.....Proverbs13:12.
Dear readers! How many yields does the tree of life yield?
For what purpose are the leaves of the tree of life used? Which river is near
to the tree of life? Where will be the tree of life after the second coming of
the tree of life? Let us know about these things clearly.
“In the middle of its street, and on either side of the
river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its
fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the
nations”.....Revelation 22:2. As in Revelation 22:1, this river is a pure
river of water of life. The tree of life and river of the water of life are
both the symbol of the Lord Christ. From this, the tree of life is either side
to the river of water of life. The tree of life bore twelve fruits and yields
every month. And the leaves of the tree of life heal the sick nations. The
tree of life, the Lord Jesus selected twelve disciples as His twelve fruits.
Thus, each fruit yields his fruits every month as the believers.
Lastly, let us know clearly about the one, who have not
partaken in the tree of life. “But outside are dogs and sources and sexually
immoral and murderers and idolatress, and whoever loves and practices a
lie”..... Revelation 22:15. These are the people, who are not partaken in the
fruits of the tree of life. Apart from these people, the Holy Bible has given
entry to other type of people in above list. It is written in Revelation 22:19
about these people. “And if anyone takes away from the words of the book of
this properly, God shall take away his part from the book of Life, from the
holy city, and from the things which are written in this book”. .....Revelation
22:19
Dear readers! Suppose, we are not in the list of the
one, who partook in the tree of life, must think that our life is vanity,
accept our sins and trespasses, wash all sins with blood Christ and move to the
path of life and become worthy to eat the fruits of the tree of life which gives
us eternal life forever.
The qualities of the tree of knowledge of good and evil
“And out of the ground the Lord God
made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree
of life was also in the midst of the Garden and the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil”.....Genesis 2:9.
Dear readers! This tree of knowledge is not an evil tree
purely; because the name of this tree itself has the knowledge of good and
evil. But, this tree had the command of the Lord. Let us know about the
qualities and image of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
“So, when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she
took of its fruit and ate”......Genesis 3:6.
From this, the qualities are,
1. Good for food,
2. Pleasant to the eyes,
3. Desirable to make one wise, and
4. Had the command of the Lord.
This tree had these four qualities. The knowledge of
human beings is thrived day by day to achieve and grasping the power of good
and evil by the effect of this fruit. And also, the first couple had the
spiritual death by the curse of the Lord. How did it happen?
Let us know about this in the chapter, “The first and
foremost command of the Lord”.
The Lord appointed Adam as the care taker of Garden of Eden
“Then the Lord God took the man and
put him in the Garden of Eden to tend and keep it”......Genesis 2:15.
Dear readers! According to the above verse, we know that
the Lord God made Adam as a farmer. The one, who belongs to any race or any
country, digs the earth to cultivate the land, is a farmer. When one farmer
digs the earth and cultivates the land, he arranges a guard to his field. If
it is not possible, he himself guards his field or crop. The farmer keeps the
thistles as fence around his field to guard his crop from animals, cattle, and
thieves.
Likewise, we can read in the Holy Bible that the Lord God
planted the Garden of Eden eastward.
The Garden of Eden can be guarded in two ways. God Himself
can tend and guard the Garden of Eden or He can appoint another one. But, the
Lord God choose the second method. How?
“Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the
Garden of Eden to tend and keep it”......Genesis 2:15.
Adam followed command of the Lord until Eve entered into
his life. Adam entered in the trespasses and sin through Eve, who was formed
from the rib of man, after this, the second method experienced decline in the
view of the Lord. So, our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ also mentioned the
same in His parable. A certain man planted a vineyard, leased it to
vinedressers, and went into a far country for a long time. Now at vintage-time
he sent servants to the vinedressers, that they might give him some of the
fruit of the vineyard. But, among them, some were beaten, some were treated
shamefully, and some were wounded and cast out by them. Then the owner of the
vineyard said, “What shall I do? I will send my beloved son probably they will
respect him when they see him. Finally they violated the agreement of lease
and killed his son. The same incident happened in the matter of the Garden of
Eden. Adam and Eve ate the fruits forbidden by the Lord as the vinedressers in
the above parable and violated against the King of kings.
What happened in both incidents? The king removed the
fields from the vinedressers and kept it in his control. We can say here that
he may give it to whomever he wishes. Likewise, the Lord God drove out Adam the
first farmer from the Garden of Eden and kept the Garden in His control and
guarded it by closing the way of Garden. But, the Lord can give the Garden of
Eden again to us. For this reason, the Lord Jesus Christ also said through
John that He will give again this Garden of Eden as inheritance. “To him who
over comes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of
the Paradise of God”.......Revelation 2:7.
Dear readers! Why did Lord God appoint Adam as the caretaker
of Garden of Eden?
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to
Our likeness” ....... Genesis 1:26.
The Lord God formed the man in His image and likeness,
the virtue and purity, the Lord God gave Adam whatever He had. One of the
qualities man inherited is the work as a farmer. That means the Lord God is
also a farmer. In which way is He farmer?
“I am the true vine, and My Farther is the
vinedresser”..... John 15:1.
The Lord Jesus Christ Himself said these words. So,
Jehovah, the Father of the Lord Jesus is the farmer.
“The hard-working farmer must be first to partake of the
crops”..... 2 Timothy 2:6.
According to this verse the Lord God was only the one
who worked hard for the Garden of Eden. So, He is the one who partook in the
first fruits. Thus, the Lord God incarnated in the form of Jesus Christ on the
earth for the sake of rescue of sins of human beings, and ploughed the sin as
the field, compensated on the Cross, died and resurrected. For this reason,
the Lord Jesus became the first person to partake of the crops of the tree of
life. There was no one, who partook of the crops of tree of life before the Lord
Christ. After Lord Christ, there are many people came to partake in the tree
of life by the grace of the Lord.
“He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at the
east of the Garden of Eden, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to
guard the way to the tree of life”.....Genesis 3:24.
There after also, the Lord God made Adam to dig the
earth and cultivate the land with toil. The reason for this is, the Lord God
is also a farmer. So, the Lord God took Adam and put him in the Garden of Eden
to tend and keep it. Thereafter, the Lord God drove Adam out to dig the land
with toil as in Genesis 3: 17-19.
Dear readers! There was no need for man to cultivate in
the Garden of Eden. In that time, there were no mechanical instruments; and
there was no knowledge of making those instruments. That means there was no
plough; pick axe, crow bar, etc. There was no need to plough the earth. And
also, there was no need of guard either for the man or the Lord to tend the
Garden of Eden which was planted by the Lord God eastward. What is the reason
by saying “Keep and tend?”
Truly, according to the above original sentence, it is
not written in the Holy Bible that the man has to tend and guard the Garden of
Eden, because there was no need of guard for the Garden of Eden. God Himself
was the guard for the Garden of Eden. Suppose, if we think that the animals,
cattle, and birds which spoil the Garden may enter in the Garden of Eden, they
were already in the Garden of Eden. What cultivation could Adam do in the Garden?
He could do nothing. So, it is not written in the Holy Bible about the kind of
cultivation that Adam did. If we read in the Holy Bible according to the
situation, it is not written that Adam plugged the earth and cultivated the
land.
Dear readers! When Adam, who was appointed by the Lord
God, was driven out from the divine proximity, the Garden of Eden, we must
think that Adam was appointed to tend and keep the earth outside the Garden to
fulfill the curse of the Lord as a farmer.
Adam’s freedom
“And the Lord God commanded the
man, saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat”......Genesis
2:16.
Dear readers! Adam could eat the fruits of every tree in
the Garden of Eden without any hindrance. There was no restriction in this. In
this modern era, there are so many restrictions for the human beings regarding
fruits based on the health condition.
Dear readers! Adam, who was in the Garden of Eden, had
no diseases. So, the body of the first man, who was formed by the Spirit of the
Lord, had the qualities i.e., holiness, health, innocence, power, etc., to eat
all fruits which were in the Garden of Eden. From this, what do we know? There
was no fruit forbidden to Adam amongst the fruits given as the inheritance for
him by the Lord God. So, the Spirit of God gave freedom to the first man to
move according to his will in the Garden of Eden without the fear of enemies,
poisonous insects, diseases, atmosphere, etc. In this way, the first man Adam
treated as specially among the creatures of the creation. There are pairs for
all creatures in the creation. But, the first man had no pair. The first man
had no helper. So, he was all alone.
The God, who created the man in his image, was the only helper
to the lonely Adam. That means Adam was spending his time with the Lord God in
the Garden of Eden. Every creature created by the Lord in the creation had the
freedom. The birds of the sky have the complete freedom in flying in the sky.
There is complete freedom for the wild animals also in the deserts. There is
complete freedom for all the creatures, which lived in the waters. Likewise,
there is complete freedom for the creatures, which are living in the heart of
the earth.
Dear readers! The Lord God favored special freedom for
the man. The Lord God planted the Garden in Eden for the man and created all
kinds of valuable trees in it. While Lord God commanding the man, said, “Of
every tree of the Garden you may freely eat”. This freedom was given to Adam
in the matter of food which is eatable. We give certain selected food only for
our children every day. There by I say that it is not freedom. But, by keeping
all food items before children and say eat whatever you like, then it is
reckoning as the freedom. But, the Lord God while giving the same freedom to
Adam, said. “0f every tree of the Garden you may freely eat”. In this
situation Adam ate whatever fruit he liked, according the freedom which Lord
God gave to him, instead of taking the fruits according to the desires of the Lord.
In this matter, we understand that how much love the Lord God had upon Adam.
Dear readers! This freedom was not only limited in the
matter of food only for Adam. The Lord God gave freedom for the first man in
each and every matter. So, Adam could move anywhere and do anything in the
Garden of Eden according to his will. God favored the freedom to Adam without
any obstacle. God also gave independent life to the animals, birds, and fishes
in the Garden of Eden along with Adam. There were four rivers in the Garden of
Eden. So, Adam had freedom regarding the drinking water from any of four
rivers. This water was pure, because the Garden of Eden was the birth place
for four rivers. Refer Genesis 2:10-14. The water, which came from the birth
place of the river, is not artificial. The pure water came from the inner most
parts of the earth naturally. God favored this water to Adam who was in the
Garden of Eden. The Lord God gave freedom to Adam upon every bird, animal, and
creature of the water.
“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be
fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it’; have dominion over the
fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that
moves on the earth”.......Genesis 1:28.
Dear readers! From this, we know that the Lord God gave
freedom for all from the beginning of this creation. The prior state of the
serpent explains to us in Genesis 3:1 that the creatures which were created by
the Lord God had the freedom in their life. This serpent had all parts i.e.,
wings and legs, and was living like an animals and flying like the birds in the
sky from one tree to another tree, instead of crawling on the earth and was
living free life. From this, the Lord gave one special privilege to the serpent
along with the man.
Dear readers! Today, if we compared in every matter of
Adam to us, it appears to us that we have no freedom at all. How did we lose
our freedom? At first the Adam, who was the forefather of our body, lost the
freedom in the Garden of Eden. Let us know how Adam lost this freedom.
“But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you
shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surly
die”.....Genesis 2:17. This was the command of the Lord. The Eve, not only
ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge forbidden by the Lord God, by yielding
to the words of the serpent that was surrounded by the Satan, made Adam her
husband to eat. In this way, they violated the command of the Lord and became
slaves of the sin. The Lord Jesus said about this,
“Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a
slave of sin”......John 8:34.
In this way, both Adam and Eve became slaves of sin.
That means, Adam and Eve lost the freedom. It is written in Genesis 3: 7-8,
“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they
knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made
themselves coverings. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the
Garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the
presence of the Lord God among the trees of the Garden”..... Genesis 3: 7-8.
In this way, Adam and Eve stepped in to the slavery.
The Lord God cursed the Adam and Eve, who lost their freedom, drove them out
from the Garden of Eden with the curse of death, which came from the fruit of
the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
Dear readers! The original hard-ships started to Adam
and Eve from here onwards. The world, five elements, etc., started to work
against Adam. It was changed as the fruitless life even when he worked hard.
The earth brought forth the thorns and thistles, even though Adam plugged the
earth with great toil according to the Genesis 3:17-18. Today, each and every
one, who is plugging the fields, can understand that clearly. We see commonly
in our fields that the weeds are growing along with the crops. What is the
reason for this? The reason is Adam lost his freedom by eating the fruit which
was forbidden by the Lord God.
Dear readers! We can read in the Holy Bible that our
Lord Jesus Christ redeemed the sinners, who are slave to the sin in this way
through His precious blood. So, Paul says in his letter,
“For you, brethren, have been called to
liberty”......Galatians 5:13. Who called them?
The one, who called them, is the Lord Jesus Christ.
For what sake, have been they called?
They have been called to liberty.
If they have been called to liberty, they must
be the slaves.
To whom are they slaves?
They are slaves to the sins, so, they have been called
to liberty.
Dear readers! Are we, living in this world today, as
slaves or free? Suppose, if we are slaves to the sin, world, and Satan, we must
dedicate our self to the Lord Christ to become free. Now if we get liberty, we
will be living our next life free in the kingdom of heaven. Suppose, if we are
slaves, we are bound to live with Satan in the bottomless pit as the slaves.
Let us grasp this matter to get ready and to live freely in the love of the
Lord! Amen
The first and foremost command of the Lord
And the Lord God commanded the man,
saying, “Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it
you shall surely die”.......Genesis 2:16-17.
Dear readers! This is the first and foremost command,
which the Lord God gave to the man. This was the law of forbidden fruit. But,
the God said to Adam, who was formed with His Spirit, “Of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat”. Different kinds of questions
would have been raised in his mind immediately after hearing this command,
because if any one says, ‘No’, about anything, we think about, “Why he is
saying no?”. And also we think that suppose if we do what will happen. Before
these questions arise in Adam’s mind, the Lord God, who knows the innermost
secrets of the heart, informed him what will happen in the day he eats of the
fruit clearly.
“For in the day that you eat of it you shall surely
die”.
This is the command, which they are bound to follow. The
Lord God gave this command to the man. Why was this command given to man? Let
us know about this now.
Dear readers! Just before this chapter, we know clearly
about the freedom in Genesis 2:16 and the Lord God, who favored the freedom.
But, we know about the law of the forbidden fruit to the man from Genesis 2:17.
Why was the command given to the man, who had complete freedom? Let us know
about this now.
Dear readers! Even though the Lord God formed the man in
His image and according to His likeness as in Genesis 1:17, we can read in the
Psalms 8:5 that He created the man little lower.
“For You have made him a little lower than the angels”
...... Psalms 8:5.
“This little lower”, is because of the command only.
For this reason, the Lord God gave the first and foremost command to the man.
The Lord God created man little lower as the command in the form of the fruit
of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. The man is bound to follow this.
If this command was not to the man, the man was equal to the Lord God. The man
is never equal to the Lord, because the Lord God formed the man, but man did
not form the Lord. For this reason only, the Lord God formed the man little
lower and gave one command to follow. Here, the Lord God had desire regarding
the man. The Lord God, who wanted that the man should follow His command, and
not yield to the temptation to become the partner with the tree of life, the
Lord Jesus as in Revelation 2:7.
Dear readers! Adam, who heard this command, was obeying
perfectly. For this reason, the Lord God made Adam to christen all animals and
birds. Thereafter, the Lord God thought that it is not good that man should be
alone, so He formed the woman Eve from the rib of Adam. Thereafter, man lived
by joining with his wife as one flesh. The Father of Adam is the Lord. The
mother of Adam is the earth, because he was formed from the dust of the
ground. As along as Adam was with his Father, the Lord God and with his mother
the earth, followed the command of the Lord and was not subjected to the misfortune.
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and
be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh”.....Genesis 2:24.
According to this sentence, Adam left his Father and
mother and joined his wife Eve and they became one flesh. As long as Adam was
living by joining with the Lord and walked in the footsteps of the Lord, he
followed the command. And also, he did according to what the Lord God said.
When he joined Eve, he had the situation that he bound to violate the command.
Dear readers! As in Genesis 2:1-6, when the woman was
alone, Satan, who was in the serpent, deluded the woman with his words and made
her to eat the fruit, the first and foremost command of the Lord. In this way,
the Eve violated the Lord’s command. Not only that, she made Adam to eat the
same fruit. So, Adam also violated the Lord’s command. So, Adam became
violator of the command. Here, we have the need to grasp one thing. That is,
Adam ate the fruit without asking a single word. That means,
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and
be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh”...... Genesis 2:24.
This sentence worked strongly and powerfully in the life
of Adam. By saying, “One flesh”, they are not separate, but they live as one
body. So, Eve must obey whatever the words of Adam. Likewise, Adam also must
obey whatever the words of Eve. Here, there is no chance to talk against one
another. The same incident happened here. So, when woman gave the fruit, Adam
ate the fruit without asking a single word. So, he violated the Lord’s command
and had gone against the Lord.
Dear readers! Let us know about the outcome of this
violation.
And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you
eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Then the
man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and
I ate”. And the Lord God said to the woman “What is this you have done?” And
the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate”. So the Lord God said to
the serpent: “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle,
and more than every beast of the field; on your belly you shall go, and you
shall eat dust all the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and
the woman, and between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and
you shall bruise His heel”. To the woman He said “I will greatly multiply your
sorrow and your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire
shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you”. Then to Adam He said,
“Because you have heeded the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree
of which I commanded you, saying, “You shall not eat of it’: Cursed is the
ground for your sake; in toil you shall eat of it all the days of your life.
Both thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you, and you shall eat the
herb of the field. In the sweat of your face you shall eat bread till you
return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for dust you are, and to
dust you shall return”. .......Genesis 3:11-19.
Dear readers! In this way, the first couple had under
gone the death. This death did not leave this world with Adam and Eve. We
know clearly that this death is persecuting us from the generation to
generation. The reason for this is Adam and Eve, who violated the Lord’s
command. But, it is to say, “This death is the first death”.
That means Adam and Eve were not buried physically
through this death. For this reason, we can say this is the spiritual death.
That means, it is said that all human beings are dead, because they are
separated from the relation-ship with the Lord.
“But Jesus said to him, ‘Follow Me and let the dead bury
their own dead’”......Matthew 8:22.
Here, in which way are the dead buried the dead?
Here, the first dead are the dead spiritually. Paul
said in Ephesians 2:1 about the spiritual death.
“And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and
sins”.....Ephesians 2:1.
Paul said these matters to Ephesians, who were living
alive in the Lord Christ. For this reason only, we must grasp that the first
dead that was said in Matthew 8:22 by the Lord Jesus is the spiritual death.
For this reason only, John also said in Revelation 3:1.
“I know your works, that you have a name that you are
alive, but you are dead”.....Revelation 3:1.
Dear readers! Immediately after eating the fruit which
was commanded by the Lord not to eat as the first and foremost command, the
Adam and Eve were dead spiritually. Thereafter, they were dead physically by
the curse of the Lord.
“For dust you are, and to dust you shall
return”.....Genesis 3:19.
It is to say that it is death pertains to the flesh. In
this way, human beings died spiritually and physically by violating only one
command. But, the spiritual death came immediately after eating the fruit of
the knowledge of good and evil. But, the death of the body is performing the
deed according to the time which given to the spirit by the Lord God.
So, Jesus said, “Follow Me, and let the dead bury their
own dead”.......Matthew 8:22.
Here, the Lord Christ said, “Follow Me, and let the one,
who died through the fruit of the tree spiritually, bury their own who died
through the fruit of the tree spiritually and physically according to the time
given to the spirit”. Now we already know clearly about the misfortune, which
happened to the human beings by eating the fruit of the knowledge of good and
evil, which was commanded not to eat by the Lord God. Is there any way to come
out from the spiritual and physical death? Let us know about this.
“Then the dust will return to the earth as it was, and
the spirit will return to God who gave it”......Ecclesiastes 12:7.
So, there is no need to worry about the death which
pertains to flesh, because this flesh was prepared from the dust only. So, we
have nothing to do with dust. So, there is no need to worry, as it returns to
dust. But, we have a need to know that how to escape from the spiritual death?
Dear readers! Even though the Lord punished the human
beings, who were dead spiritually through the floods and fire and brimstone
according to the situation, the Lord gave the covenant and Ten Commandments to
them. We can read about the covenant and Ten Commandments in the 5th chapter
of Deuteronomy. It is otherwise called as the covenant of Moses. The Lord God
Jehovah said here and there in the Old Testament, “Whoever follows these Ten
Commandments, I will give heavenly Zion to them”. But, the nation of Israelites
could not follow these commandments. The Lord God gave only one command to the
man in the Garden of Eden, but the commands given by the Lord God to the nation
Israelites are ten. If such misfortunes happened for only one command, let us
know how many fortunes and misfortunes happened for these Ten Commands.
Dear readers! So many people say commonly in many
matters that we are trying to follow at least one command correctly among the
Ten Commands.
Some more people say that we follow first four
correctly.
Some people say that we follow seventh and eight
commands. Likewise, they go on telling about the Ten Commandments.
Regarding these matters they say that it is very
difficult to follow each and every one. But,
“Only be strong and very courageous, that you may
observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded
you”......Joshua 1:7.
This was the order from the Lord Jehovah. The fortune,
which came to the Joshua, who followed the covenant of Ten Commandments in this
way, is Joshua 1:9.
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good
courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you
wherever you go”......Joshua 1:9.
In this way, whoever follows covenant and do according
to the covenant the Lord God will be with them and leads them into the life. The
covenant of the Ten Commandments was from the Lord God implemented to the
people, who wants to cross the spiritual death, which came by the violation of
the first and foremost command. If we think about how many persons escaped
from the spiritual death, hardly one among the millions, because,
James said, “For whoever shall keep the whole law, and
yet stumble in one point, he is guilty of all”..... James 2:10.
The one, who follow some commands and not follow some
other commands according to just before said, became culprit for all; so, he
will not be coming out from the spiritual death.
Dear readers! Let us know about the misfortunes received
because of not following the covenant. The divine nation, Israelites
experienced torture many times when they were handed over to the heathen by the
Lord in the Old Testament. Now, the covenant of Ten Commandments, being in
heaven, became the reason to all kinds of misfortunes on the earth and
performed its action.
“Then the temple of God was opened in heaven, and the
ark of His covenant was seen in His temple. And there were lightnings, noises,
thundering, an earthquake, and great hail”.....Revelation 11:19.
In this way, the covenant shows its fury on us, who are
experiencing spiritual death.
Dear readers! In these circumstances, the Lord God
Himself reduced His fury, glory and power, and incarnated on the earth through
Virgin Mary. The Lord Jesus Christ, who performed many glorified deeds among
us in this world, favored His grace and purchased us by His blood. But, the
Lord Christ also gave some commands to us. Let us know what these commands are
and what the plights are now. Here, we must grasp that the reason for the
incarnation of the Lord Christ in this world is the spiritual death of the man
only. If it is so, which commands did the Lord Christ gave us? He also gave
same commands which the Lord God gave as the Ten Commandments through Moses.
That means if we are following the Lord Christ perfectly and violated the Ten
Commandments, we must grasp that it is useless. It is not just to say that we
are in the period of grace, so there is no need of Ten Commandments of the Old
Testaments. No one can judge as the righteous according to the covenant. While
following the covenant of Ten Commandments, if we are the deserved one to the
grace of the Lord Christ, we can escape from the spiritual death by canceling
the violated command in the Lord Christ. This much only, but it is not to say
that I am in the grace of the Lord Christ, so there is no need of following the
Ten Commandments of the Lord. The Lord Christ also taught the Ten
Commandments. Let us know the commands which Lord Christ gave us to escape
from the spiritual death, instead of Ten Commandments. And He said to them, “Go
into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature” .... Mark 16:15.
We are bound to follow this command, which the Lord
Christ gave us, along with the Ten Commandments.
Then Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All
authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make
disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have
commanded you, and lo, I am with you always even to the end of the age”.
Amen.....Matthew 28: 18-20.
Not only that,
“A new commandment I give to you, that you love one
another”....John 13:34,
So, this second command of the Lord Christ is to fulfill
the covenant of the Lord only. If we follow the second command of the Lord
Christ, it is equal to fulfill the covenant. So, Paul said,
“Love deeds no harm to a neighbor; therefore love is the
fulfillment of the law”......Romans 13:10.
Dear readers! We know so many commands in this topic
which is written till now. But, it appears to me that any one of these
commands is not burden to us. We have gone against the command according our
mind’s weakness. So, here, we must grasp that we have not gone against the
commands according to the burden of the law or commands. Likewise, John also
said his opinion on the commands like me,
“His Commandments are not burdensome”.....in I John 5:3.
So, our Lord Jesus Christ also compacted too easy to remember
the all commandments as two commandments to remember and to follow easily.
“Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one. And
you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with
all your mind, and with all your strength”. This is the first Commandment.
And the second, like it, is this; ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself’.
There is no other commandment greater than these”......Mark 12: 29-31.
According to this reference, we many think that there
is no need to teach the gospel. But, even though we love the Lord with all our
heart as the first command, if we love our neighbors as the second command, we
must try to see that the neighbor escape from the spiritual death by teaching
them the gospel. If we have no love on the neighbors, we do not teach the
Gospel to them and we become the reason for the spiritual destruction of the
souls of our neighbor. So, our Lord Jesus Christ said, “You shall love your
neighbor as yourself, as the second command among the main commands”.
Dear readers! Let us also know the plight of the one who
are not following these commands. They are deserved persons to the second
death. The Holy Bible explains that this is horrible state.
“Then Death and Hades were cast into the lake of fire.
This is the second death”...... Revelation 20:14.
“But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers,
sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in
the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second
death”......Revelation 21:8.
Dear readers! The first man Adam, who violated the first
and foremost command of the Lord, ate the fruit of knowledge of good and evil
and had the physical and spiritual death. But, the Lord God gave a chance
through the blood of His Son the Lord Jesus Christ to get the previous grandeur
and to enter in to everlasting life by escaping from the spiritual death. If
we utilize this chance, our Spirit enters in the everlasting life and enjoys
the everlasting happiness in the presence of our Savior the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Scripture says that whoever utilizes this chance; they are not subjected to
the second death. In which state are you in? Please examine before it is too
late.
Is it not good that man should be alone?
And the Lord God said, “It is not
good that man should be alone; I will make him a helper comparable to
him”.....Genesis 2:18.
Dear readers! Lord did according to His thought.
“So, Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the
air, and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a
helper comparable to him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on
Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its
place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man He made into a
woman, and He brought her to the man”... Genesis 2:20-22. From this, we know
that the Lord God’s thoughts had the fulfillments already.
Dear readers! Every creature that God created in the
creation has the pair. Each and every creature i.e., cattle, birds, insects,
aquatic animals, amphibians, etc., has male and female in its race. Male is
the helper of female, and the female is the helper of male. It is written in
Genesis 1:26& 2:15 about the formation of man.
Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according
to Our likeness” .... Genesis 1:26.
“Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the
Garden of Eden to tend and keep it”.....Genesis 2:15.
It is also written in Psalms 8:5-9 about the way of
control of the creation through the man by the Lord God. “For You have made
him a little lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and
honor. You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You
have put all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen-even the beasts of the
field, the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass through the
paths of the seas. O Lord, our Lord, how excellent is Your name in all the
earth...Psalms 8:5-9.
Man, who had so much wealth received from the Lord had
no helper according to above verse. The Lord God not only thought that this is
a big deficit, but also we know from the scripture that the Lord felt sorry for
this. If Adam remained alone in the Garden of Eden, today we would not have
remained as the human beings. Now, we are living, we have to understand that
it is the result of first man only.
Dear readers! The Lord God felt sorry for man’s
loneliness. Adam had no suitable helper in those days. Man’s birth is
different from the birth of creatures. Each and every organ in the man and each
and every aspect in man’s life do not belong to this world. The Lord God
formed the body of man with His own hands and gave His spirit and life. The
Garden of Eden, which the Lord God favored to man, also belongs to the Lord
only. The wealth, which the Lord God has given to the man belongs to the Lord
only. Because each and every thing belongs to the Lord, and there is no relationship
to the man with anything which pertains to this world. In this way, Adam did
not belong to this world in those days. So, the Lord God did not search the
need for a full helper in worldly way, and viewed His spiritual sight once and
examined clearly and decided that the woman must be related to the humanity.
At that time man was alone. So, there must be a helper as the image of woman.
It is waste to create a helper to the man without the difference of sex. Every
creature in the creation has the difference in sex. Adam was the only one, who
lived without the knowledge of difference of sex. So, the Lord prepared to
create another image. “But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to
him. And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He
took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place. Then the rib which
the Lord God had taken from man He made into a woman”....Genesis 2:20-22.
This deep sleep can be said as dead sleep. From this,
what do we have to understand? Adam was dead in the matter of the construction
of woman, who was taken from the man. This is called as induced deep sleep.
It is also called as immovable state. This was the state, in which the sprit
was separated from the body. We have to understand that while the woman was
being formed by the Lord, Adam looked with his spiritual eye and grasped the
formation of the woman from his rib with his spiritual knowledge. After
dividing the spirit in this way, Adam was awake from deep sleep and said, “This
is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man.” .... Genesis 2:23. If he said in this way,
does it mean that Adam could understand in sleep? So, we must grasp that this
sleep not an ordinary sleep.
The woman, who was formed from man, was arranged as the
helper to the man by the Lord God. Till now, Adam was joined to the Lord.
After that he joined with his wife. As long as Adam was joined with the Lord
eating the fruits in the Garden of Eden, Eve, who taken out from him, was embedded
in him in the form of flesh and rib” The Lord God said, “It is not good that
man should be alone;” and He did so. Here the father to the Adam is the Lord
God and the mother to the Adam is the earth. Eve’s father is the Lord God and
her mother is Adam. Because Adam’s body came from the earth and Eve’s body
came from Adam. “Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be
joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” .... Genesis 2:24.
According to the prophecy, now Adam, who was aloof from
the Lord and earth who gave the birth to him, must live by joining to the woman
who was formed from his rib. After living together for some time, again the
loneliness was formed. One day when Eve was away from Adam, the Satan entered
in the serpent and taught to Eve about the forbidden fruit and made her to
eat. The Scripture explains that the Satan not only made the woman to eat, but
also Adam, against the command of the Lord and made them to be subjected to the
punishments i.e. death and secular life. Let us know clearly from here
onwards about the fortunes and misfortunes which happened to the man when he
was alone.
Dear readers! Loneliness causes people pain, danger,
destruction, looting, addiction to pornography, rape, etc., in human life. This
loneliness is not only against the humanity, but also against the divinity. A
lonely man’s life is hard in modern civilization. The life of a lonely person
is full of problems. So, the elders’ proverb in Sanskrit language is
“Brahmachari Shata Markata”, it means, “A bachelor is equal to hundred
monkeys”. This proverb still stands in our society.
Dear readers! We know how a lonely person faces the
misfortunes, in his life. It is easy to kill a person in his loneliness. We,
as the believers of today, should not forget that we are living in such a
dangerous era. Like this, the dangerous aspect of lonely life is seen through media.
The accidents, which are formed through the loneliness are not new. Let us
know about the loneliness through the Scripture.
Dear readers! When first woman Eve was alone, she was
tempted by Satan through the serpent. She not only yielded to the teachings,
but also ate the forbidden fruit and went against the command of the Lord. She
made the man to eat the fruit. So that he also was against the command of the
Lord along with her. For this reason, he deserved the death by the Lord and
became the cursed one. If the woman Eve had been together with her man Adam,
this misfortune would not have happened. This is the explanation about the
lonely life of the first couple. Likewise, it is written about Cain in this
way. “Now Cain talked with Abel his brother; and it came to pass, when they
were in the field, that Cain raised against Abel his brother and killed him”
.... Genesis 4:8. The loneliness is the reason for the death of Abel. We can
read from the Holy Bible that Cain was cursed by the Lord when Abel was killed
and became vagabond in his life. The Lord God compassionate towards Cain, who
became a vagabond, set a mark.
“Now it came to pass in those days, when Moses was
grown, that he went out to his brethren and looked at their burdens. And he
saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew, one of his brethren. So he looked this way
and that way, and when he saw no one, he killed the Egyptian and hid him in the
sand” .... Exodus 2:11-12. This action of murder was happened in loneliness.
“And he arose that night and took his two wives, his two
maidservants, and his eleven sons, and crossed over the ford of Jabbok. He
took them, sent them over the brook, and sent over what he had. Then Jacob was
left alone; and a Man wrestled with him until the breaking of day. Now when He
saw that He did not prevail against him, He touched the socket of his hip; and
the socket of Jacob’s hip was out of joint as He wrestled with him. And He
said, “Let Me go, for the day breaks”. But he said, “I will not let You go
unless You bless me!” And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob,
but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed”
......Genesis 32:22-28. Here only a good thing happened, because Jacob was
with the Lord God.
Thereafter, it is written as in 2
Samuel 11:1 about the loneliness of the great king David. The king David
purchased this loneliness according the weakness of his mind, but really he was
not weak. But, he became weak. The reason to the weakness of David was his
loneliness. David’s desired loneliness lead him to sin openly. We can read as
in 2 Samuel 11:2 that this sin attracted the heart of David. David, who forgot
himself, was attracted to the beauty of the woman. At that time, the king
David forgot about his nation, the war, the divinity, and the responsibility
which the Lord God kept on him. Apart from this, instead of casting his eyes on
her, he came to know her details through his servant and he was laid with her.
This was the temptation in loneliness of David, a man of God, the prophet, an
author of Psalms, the lamp to the Israelites, the great king, great
philosopher, and forefather of the Lord Jesus. We know that the harm that
happened through David, who experienced this through his dynasty.
Three kinds of great evil deeds in the life of David
were,
(1) aloof from divine nation by violating the divine
law;
(2) lay with her
(3) to kill her husband in the battle field.
We can read in 2 Samuel that the king David experienced
the grief, obstacles and troubles by the curse of the Lord. The Lord God
struck the first born son, who was begotten by Bathsheba whom the king seduced,
and died.
“Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil
walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour” ....1 Peter 5:8. The
Satan wants lonely people. It means by loneliness we gave lenience to the
Satan.
So, dear readers! We must grasp that the loneliness is
the reason for all kinds of problems. So, we should take care of ourselves
without getting entangled in it. Instead of craving for loneliness, we must desire
the fellowship of the servants of the Lord to lead a happy life in Lord. Here,
we must grasp that we must lead a family life. If not, we must lead a life in
the Spirit of Lord by leaving the loneliness. Amen.
The greatest and biggest ceremony of the christening
“Out of the ground the Lord God
formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air, and brought them to
Adam to see what he would call them. And whatever Adam called each living
creature that was its name. So Adam gave names to all cattle, to the birds of
the air, and to every beast of the field”.....Genesis 2:19-20.
Dear readers! We know from above sentence that the
ceremony of the christening is started from the Garden of Eden. In these days,
we do the ceremony of christening for new born child independent of the
religion we belong to. From that day, the new born child is called with this
name. But, the day of christening in the period of the Old Testament was
performed with the deed of circumcision on eight day. Likewise, the same
ceremony was held to John the Baptist also.
Now so it was, on the eighth day, that they came to
circumcise the child; and they would have called him by the name of his father,
Zacharias. And his mother answered and said. “No; he shall be called
John”.....Luke 1:59-60.
Likewise, the same happened in the matter of Christ in
the period of New Testament also.
“And when eight days were completed for the circumcision
of the Child, His name was called JESUS, the name given by the angel before He
was conceived in the womb”.....Luke 2:21.
Likewise, the ceremony of the christening was held in
the Garden of Eden. Here, the ceremony of the christening was not performed
for the new born child. But it was performed for all cattle, birds, and the
beast of the field. Here we must grasp the matter that whatever Adam called
the cattle, the birds and the beasts of the field, the same names are called
for those cattle, birds and beasts of the field even today also. Dear
readers! It is natural that the surprise arise in us how the innocent Adam
could christen all cattle, birds and beast of the field? Here, we must grasp
that this ceremony of christening was not performed with Adam’s own knowledge.
In which way, could Adam call the cattle, birds and beasts of the field? Adam
called the cattle, birds, and beasts of the field according to the instigation
of the Holy Spirit. Was it not the power of the Lord that Moses could write the
history which happened before his birth? How could he write about the formation
of creation? Moses was an illiterate and stammered. If Moses could be writer
of the first parts of the Holy Bible, we must grasp that it is the instigation
of the Holy Spirit. Likewise, we must grasp that John also could not write
about the end of this world and the incidents which will happen in the period
of the second coming of the Lord Christ with his own knowledge. John could
write only according to the leading of the Holy Spirit and according to the
instigation which came through the Holy Spirit. So, John said about himself,
“And he carried me away in the Spirit”.....Revelation
21:10.
Likewise, when Adam was carried in
the Holy Spirit, the Lord God formed every beast of the field and every bird of
the air out of the ground, and brought them to Adam to see what he would call
them. And whatever Adam called each living creature that was its name. So, Adam
gave names to all cattle, to the birds of the air, and to every beast of the
field.
Dear readers! Here one question may arise in us that the
people of all languages are not called the name, which was christened by Adam.
What is the motive to say that whatever Adam called each living creature that
was its name? The people lived as one tongue and as one nation before the
construction of the tower Babel. It is written in the Holy Bible that the Lord
God interchanged their languages during the time of the construction of the
tower Babel. The present day tongues are the tongues, which were formed at
that time only. That means there is one name for every animal in any language.
This name was called according to their language which was given by the Lord
God. That means they called the name, which was given by Adam, in their
language or tongues. Here, we cannot forget that the Lord God gave these
languages.
“And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began
to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. Now there were
dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. And
when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because
everyone heard them speak in his own language” ...... The Acts of the Apostles
2:4-6.
From this, there is no doubt that we are calling the
cattle, birds, and beasts of field with the name, which Adam gave, from our own
languages.
So, Dear readers! We do not know that how many days, was
the first ceremony of the christening held, but we can say that it was the
biggest and greatest ceremony of the christening. Amen.
The lord God created the woman...... Adam called her as the woman
And the Lord God caused a deep
sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept; and He took one of his ribs, and closed up
the flesh in its place. Then the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, He
made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said: “This is now bone
of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was
taken out of Man”......Genesis 2:21-23.
Dear readers! Now let us know the secret in the
construction of a woman.
“It is not good that man should be alone; I will make him a
helper comparable to him”.....Genesis 2:18.
But, just before the Lord God did a helper comparable to
him, He formed every beast of the field and every bird of the air and brought
them before Adam. And the Lord God created the instigation of the Holy Spirit
in Adam and made him to christen every beast of the field and every bird of the
air.
Thereafter, again the Lord thought in this way.
“But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to
him”....Genesis 2: 20.
Dear readers! Here, two thoughts of the Lord are
appeared to us. The first and foremost thought of the Lord in this chapter is,
“It is not good that man should be alone; I will make
him a helper comparable to him”.
The second thought which came after the first thought to
the Lord God is,
“But for Adam there was not found a helper comparable to
him”. Among these two sentences, the Lord God formed every beast of the field
and every bird of the air out of the ground, and brought them to Adam. Adam
christened them by the instigation of the Holy Spirit. Here, we know from about
two sentences that the Lord God saw that Adam could keep any one among the
animals and birds as a helper. But, Adam did not keep any one among the
animals and birds as a helper to him. Thereafter, the Lord God said, “But for
Adam there was not found a helper comparable to him”.
So, there was no such thought in the view of the Lord
also to keep these creatures as a helper to Adam. So, the Lord God is ready to
make a helper comparable to him. At first a part in this, the Lord God caused
a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and
closed up the flesh in its place.
Dear readers! Here, a secret is hidden. We have side-
ribs. These ribs are two sides in us. But, even though Adam also had the ribs
in both sides just like us, in Adam one side- rib would have been more than the
ribs of us. It is written in the Holy Bible that the Lord God took this rib
and closed the flesh in its place. But, which side was the Lord God closed up the
flesh in its place? This place is the place in which the Lord God took one
rib. Suppose, if the Lord God did not close that place with flesh, is it not
an empty place or a pit! For this reason only, the Lord God closed up the flesh
in its place.
Dear readers! Then the Lord God had taken the rib from
man, He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. Here, it is not
written that the Lord God did not use the dust of the ground in construction
the woman. But, according to the words, which Adam said, “This is now bone of
my bones and flesh of my flesh”; the Lord closed up the flesh in its place and
performed the construction of the woman with same flesh. That means the bone
and flesh of Adam were used in the constructive deed of a woman.
Dear readers! In this, a secret was hidden.
That is, man be joined to his wife, and they shall be
come one flesh as in Genesis 2:24. “Woman is the flesh and bone of my body”,
this opinion is in man’s thought, and then only, they become together as one
flesh.
Likewise, “I came out from the rib and flesh of my man,
so I must give honor to him”, this opinion is in the woman’s thought, then
only, they become together as one flesh.
So, the Lord God did not form the woman with dust, but
with the bone and flesh of the man. So, Paul says in his teachings in this
way. “Every sin and trespasses will hold outside the body, but, the adultery
held within the body, so it spoils the body”.
Dear readers! The meaning in this sentence is the man
must be with one woman, who was taken from his body. But, he should not spoil
the flesh and bone of another’s body. So, we see so many diseases which
started with adultery. But, when the Lord God brought the woman near Adam,
Adam said “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be
called Woman, because she was taken out of Man”. Here why did not Adam call the
woman as the sister or daughter? We have the need to know why Adam called her
as the woman.
Dear readers! There was no helper for Adam. All that
time, the Lord, God made woman and brought her to the man. The helper may be a
sister, daughter, mother, or wife etc., in every matter, they mingled with each
other, except joined together in flesh. It is also not written in Genesis that
Adam and Eve were together and they shall become one flesh. But, here we have
the need to know about the blessings to the human beings from the Lord.
“Then God blessed them, and God said to them, ‘Be
fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it’”.....Genesis 1:28.
By this reason only, when the Lord God brought her to
the man, Adam, who was instigated by the Holy Spirit, said “This is now bone of
my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was
taken out of Man”. That means he received her as his wife. For this reason,
after they violated the command of the Lord, they became the fore mother and
father to so many nations. Amen
One flesh
“Therefore a man shall leave his
father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh”
.... Genesis 2:24.
Dear readers! This is a great annoyance which is entangled
in most of the houses. This is annoyance between mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.
We are commonly seen in our society that a mother teaches her son good ways of
life. The son who follows the words of his mother without breaking gets a good
name. We are commonly seeing such a person is praised by so many elders. After
the marriage of same son, we are commonly hearing that the same mother bewails
about her son that he is not hearing her words anymore. What is the original
reason for this? The reason for this is Genesis 2:24 only.
“Therefore a man shall leave his
father and mother and be joined to this wife, and they shall become one flesh”
......Genesis 2:24.
Dear readers! The Lord God said firmly in this verse
that a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife. Is
there any way to remove their moaning noise? As parents, we must realize that
one day our child shall leave us to join their spouse. So, we must be ready
for that day. After the marriage of their son, it is good that they must live
aloof from the matters of newly married couple as for as possible.
Dear readers! What about the parents?
“Honor your father and your mother, as the Lord your God
has commanded you, that your days may be long, and that it may be well with you
in the land which the Lord your God is giving you” .... Deuteronomy 5:16.
According to this sentence, the man, who already married
should honor his father and mother, who live aloof in his matters. Then only
his days may be long.
“You shall raise before the gray headed and honor the
presence of an old man, and fear your God” ......Leviticus 19:32.
Dear readers! From this, what do we know? The parents
should give some private space for their married children and stop involving in
their day to day life. The man honors their parents, who are doing in this way,
and leave them in the fear of the Lord and join his wife and they live as one
flesh.
Dear readers! If we think spiritually about new coming
daughter-in-law in the house, we can understand one thing. Before the coming
of, the daughter-in-law, there is one master in that house. He is the father
of her husband. Till now, everyone in that house is doing according to the
master, the father. But, in the matter of daughter-in-law, her husband is her
first and foremost master. The Holy Bible also says that she must live by
obedient to her husband. But, when she is entering in that house with her master
i.e. her husband, there is another master whom she comes across i.e., the
father-in-law. What does the Holy Bible say in this matter?
“No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate
the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despise the
other. You cannot serve God and mammon” ......Matthew 6:24.
From this, the daughter-in-law selected her husband as
her master and go against to the second master.
Dear readers! In the matter of wife, the Holy Bible says
that she must obey her master i.e. her husband. But, in the matter of
daughter-in-law, the parents of her husband i.e., the father-in-law and the
mother-in-law, must recognize one thing that there is one master for the
daughter-in-law more than them and also grasp that she must be obedient to her
master. And they should not give orders to her and give her freedom to be obedient
to her husband i.e. the master. If everyone lives according to this, their
lives will be happy.
The glorified white robes
“And they were both naked, the man and his wife” ....
Genesis 2:25.
Dear readers! This verse says that Adam and his wife
were naked. This sentence was written before they entered in the sin.
“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they
knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made
themselves coverings” .... Genesis 3:7.
This sentence was written after they entered into the
sin. Were they not aware that they were naked ever since the creation till
they entered into the sin? Let us know the divine secret in this matter that
they came to know that they were naked after they ate the forbidden fruit.
Dear readers! When the Lord God created Adam, He said:
“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our
likeness” .... Genesis 1:26.
After His thought, He created both male and female.
But, did the Lord God keep them naked? But it is written,
“And they were both naked, the man and his wife, and
were not ashamed” .... Genesis 2:25.
They were not ashamed, so they did not know that they
were naked. When Satan entered in the serpent and spoke with woman, he did not
say about their nakedness. The Lord God also did not say that they were naked.
We can read in the Holy Bible that the robes of Jesus transformed as the white
robes in the transfiguration of the Lord Christ.
“Now after six days Jesus took
Peter, James, and John, his brother, brought them up on a high mountain by
themselves, and was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and
His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah
appeared to them, talking with Him” .... Matthew 17:1-3.
From this, we know that the worldly
garments changed as the glorified white robes. These glorified white robes
shined like light and covered the body without showing their external parts.
What they see in Matthew 17:1-3 is His face shone like the sun and His clothes
became as white as the light. Because of this they could not see anything. It
is written in the Holy Bible that the divine angels also could wear the robes.
“His countenance was like
lightning, and his clothing as white as snow” .... Matthew 28:3.
From this, the angels, which were
in invisible state, had the glorified white robes.
Dear readers! The Lord God also has the white robes.
The angel of the Lord also had the white robes. It written is in the Holy
Bible that the one, who enters in the heavenly kingdom wears the white robes. “They
shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy” .... Revelation 3:4.
“Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and on the
thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes; and they had
crowns of gold on their heads” .... Revelation 4:4.
“After these things I looked, and behold, a great
multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and
tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white
robes, with palm branches in their hands” ......Revelation 7:9.
In this way, the people who are worthy to enter in the
kingdom of heaven, 24 elders and the selected people, who are from all nations had
to wear the white robes. We cannot forget that they are in the proximity of
the Lord. What is the reason for the Lord God creating Adam and Eve as naked?
Dear readers! Truly, Adam and Eve were not naked,
because God created man in His own image, according to His likeness. That
means in which way He was, in the same way He created the man. He made Adam
and Eve to wear the robes with which He adorned them. They are the glorified
white robes. Then why did God used the word, “Naked”?
Because you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and
have need of nothing’- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor,
blind, and naked” ......Revelation 3:17.
From this, we have the need to know that our life is
naked life forever. And we must recognize that each and every thing in this
world will not come along with us. So, the Lord God said to the first human
being according to this matter, “You were naked”, because, the Lord God already
knew that they ate the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, and
became naked. So, the Lord God made Moses to write in Genesis 2:25 that they
were naked. From this, Adam and Eve had worn the glorified white robes. So,
in the connection of Satan spoke to Eve through the serpent, he did not say,
“You were naked”.
Dear readers! Let us have the need to know the time when
Adam and Eve lost the glorified white robes. When Eve trusted the words of
Satan through the serpent and ate the fruit of tree of knowledge of good and
evil by violating the command of the Lord, they came to know that they were
naked. That means they did not know that they lost the glorified white robes.
So, they said,
“I heard Your voice in the Garden, and I was afraid
because I was naked; and I hid myself” .... Genesis 3:10.
The Lord God cursed Adam and Eve, as they were not worried
about the lost glorified white robes; and when the Lord God drove out the man
from the Garden of Eden, it is written in Genesis 3:21 that He made tunics of
skin, and clothed them.
Dear readers! Let us have the need to know the matter
that how we get again the glorified white robes, which Adam and Eve lost.
“And they shall walk with Me in white, for they are
worthy” .... Revelation 3:4.
Here it is said, “They are worthy”. Here, we must grasp
that the worthy people are those, who ended the deeds of Satan and world. The
Lord God gave them the glorified white robes, which was lost by Adam and Eve.
After they wear, they move with the Lord.
Dear readers! We must recognize in which state we are in
because we must wear the glorified white robes again. So, we have the need to
end the deeds of the Satan and the world. Let us gain the worthiness for the
glorified white robes, which the Lord God promised to us. Amen
Ashamed
“And they were both naked, the man
and his wife, and were not ashamed” ......Genesis 2:25.
Dear readers! According to the previous chapter, the
Lord God, who already knew that the man lost the glorified white robes and
became the naked and who knew the future, prophesied before Adam and Eve became
the naked in Genesis 2:25 that they were both naked. In the same sentence, the
Lord made to prophecy the words, which are related to our topic. That is,
“They were not ashamed”. Now, let us know the quality of ashamed clearly.
Dear readers! The quality of Ashamed is absent in the
Lord God, because, He will never do the shameful acts. So, when the Lord God
created Adam and Eve, He gave glorified white robes to cover their nakedness; so,
He made them without ashamed. But, the quality of Ashamed entered in Adam and
Eve when they ate the forbidden fruit of the Lord. The quality of Ashamed
started from Adam and Eve in the human race. But, the reason for the entry of
ashamed and by losing of the glorified white robes till now, they were afraid
and hid themselves behind the trees when they heard the voice of the Lord. The
qualities for Adam and Eve for hiding behind the trees are 1. Ashamed and 2.
Fear.
Here, Adam and Eve were ashamed for their nakedness and
for their deed. Not only that, they hid from the Lord God, because they were
afraid of the Lord. The ashamed must not thrive day by day along with the
sin. But, it is written in Genesis 6:1-6 that the human beings spread the sin
beyond limits. But, it is not written that they were not ashamed for their
spread sin. But, after Adam and Eve entered in the sin by violating the divine
command, their eyes were opened and hid behind the trees due to fear for the
sound of the Lord God. So, even though the Lord God cursed them for their sin,
he made them the tunics of skin to cover their nakedness for their salvation.
But, for the people were not ashamed for their sin in Genesis 6th chapter,
the Lord God whipped them away through the floods.
Likewise, in the period of Lot, the people in the cities
of Sodom and Gomorrah were trained in the adultery and trained to ravish Lot
and the angels, which came to guard their family. But, it is not written that
they were ashamed for their sins. So, we can read in the Holy Bible that the
Lord God destroyed the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah with fire and brim stone.
Dear readers! Paul the apostle also prophesied about
this ashamed.
“What fruit did you have then in the things of which you
are now ashamed? For the end of those things is death” .... Romans 6:21. But,
Adam and Eve were ashamed later for their deeds, even though its end is death,
they could get the skin tunics for their salvation from the Lord. The people
in Genesis 6th chapter and the people of the cities Sodom and Gomorrah
were not ashamed for their sinful deeds, then and there; they received their
end, “The death”.
So, Paul said to us, “What fruit did you have then in
the things of which you are now ashamed? And also, Paul gave warning to us,
“You must escape from the end of sin i.e., the death”.
Dear readers! In which matter, should we, who live in
the period of grace, be ashamed? In which matter, should we not be ashamed? Let
us know these things also. Today, if we see besides us as for as possible
ways, the robbery, bribe, adultery, cheating, etc., are seen. Even in Christian
also, it is found. The people who say, “I am Christian”, are following the
qualities of Satan. If anyone says, “It is a fault”; they are not in a
position to hear, because to days’ society is not in a position to repent by
knowing their faults.
” Because, you say, ‘I am rich, have become wealthy, and
have need of nothing, - and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor,
blind, and naked” .... Revelation 3:17.
But, the Lord God said as in Genesis 2:25, they do not
know that they are naked, so they are not ashamed. But in which matter are we
ashamed? And in which matter are we should not be ashamed? We should not be
ashamed in the matter of the Lord and in the matter of the gospel. But, the
people of today’s era are ashamed in the matter of the Lord and in the matter
of preaching gospel, but they are not ashamed of their trespasses and sins.
Instead of this, they argue that whatever they did is correct. But, the Lord
Jesus Christ said,
“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous
and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes
in the glory of His Father with the holy angels” .... Mark 3:38.
According to this sentence, whoever is ashamed for the
Lord and for the gospel, the Son of Man, the Lord Jesus Christ also will not
accept him before the glory of His Father. Likewise, while the Paul the Apostle
told about the gospel, said,
“I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ” ....in
Romans 1:16. So, whoever is ashamed about the Lord God and gospel of Christ,
we must grasp that they will be ashamed before the presence of the Lord.
Whoever is not ashamed in above two matters and ashamed about their sins will
not be ashamed before the presence of the Lord.
Dear readers! The Holy Bible taught in Genesis 2:25 that
they were both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed. This
sentence was proclaimed before they know the quality of ashamed and when they
were adorned with glorified white robes. At that time, Adam and Eve were not
naked. They were clothed with glorified white robes. The Lord God, who knew
the future, saw the down fall of man in His view. When the Lord God sees the
man about his future, He saw that they were naked. And also, He recognized
that they are not ashamed for their sins. So, we must grasp here that the Lord
God made to write this verse in this way. Amen.
The cunning serpent
“Now the serpent was more cunning
than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made” ......Genesis 3:1.
Dear readers! The serpent was the one among all the
beasts of the field which the Lord god had made. This serpent had the cunning
quality. The one, who gave the cunning quality to the serpent, is the Lord God
only. But, at first, this serpent was leading holy life in the Garden of Eden.
A question may arise in us that the serpent is unholy,
but how did it lead a holy life in the Garden of Eden?
The Garden of Eden is the holy one. The Lord God
Himself made every creature and birds in it with the dust of the ground. So,
each and every one in the holy Garden of Eden is holy. This serpent is not
like now a day’s serpent, had wings and legs, and lived flying from tree to
tree. The proof for this is in Genesis 3:14.
So, the Lord God said to the serpent. “Because you have
done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of
the field; on your belly, you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of
your life” .... Genesis 3:14.
From this, what can we understand? This serpent had the
legs like a cattle and wings for flying like a bird.
Dear readers! What is the reason for the curse to the
serpent, which had this much privilege? The cunning quality in the serpent
gave the place for the Satan. The Satan surrounded the serpent by using the cunning
quality and told a lie.
“You will not surly die” .... Genesis 3:4.
The lie is against the kingdom of the Lord. The Lord
Christ is the replica of the righteousness and purity, but not for the lies.
But, the Satan is the replica of lies.
“You are
of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you want to do. He was
a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there
is no truth in him. When speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he
is a liar and father of it” .... John 8:44.
So, Satan basing on the cunning quality in the serpent
surrounded him and made him to lie. We must think about the plight of the
serpent, which was surrounded by Satan and laid.
“But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral
and murderers, and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie” ....
Revelation 22:15.
According to the above verse, the Lord God cursed the
serpent who lied. After this the serpent lived by crawling on the earth.
Dear readers! The prophet, Isaiah also prophesied about
the serpent which was in the Garden of Eden.
“In that day the Lord with His severe sword, great and
strong, will punish Leviathan the fleeing serpent, Leviathan that twisted
serpent; and He will slay the reptile that is in the sea” .... Isaiah 27:1.
Leviathan the fleeing serpent is the cunning serpent in
the Garden of Eden. But, this serpent was cursed though the word, the sword of
the Lord. The fleeing serpent changed as the Leviathan that twisted serpent through
this curse. This twisted serpent also performed the deeds against to the Lord
and brought up the sin along with the people and changed them as the dynasty of
the serpent. For this reason, the Lord Christ said in this way.
“Brood of vipers! How can you, being evil, speak good
things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks” .... Matthew
12:34.
In this way, the Lord God punishes the dynasty of vipers
from Genesis 6th chapter. But, it is written that the punished twisted
serpent changed as the reptile in the sea.
“I will tell you the mystery of the woman and of the
beast that carries her, which has the seven heads and the ten horns. The beast
that you saw was and is not, and will ascend out of the bottomless pit and go
to perdition” .... Revelation 17:7-8.
It is written in the same chapter that the sea is the
nations. That means the twisted serpent will rise from the dynasty of the
serpent i.e., the nation i.e., the sea. But, the sentence in the Holy Bible
says he will go to perdition.
Dear readers! Let us know how Satan talked to Eve by
entering in the serpent. Ahead of this, we have the need to know certain
incidents, which are happening now. We see many temples of Satan around us.
Among them, some are the images of human being; some more are the images of
animals, birds, trees, etc. The people are worshipping by keeping these images
in that temple. If we ask any one, whom are you worshipping? They say, “These
are gods”.
Do we think at any time about this? If we think about
this, we can recognize one prominent secret. Satan deludes the people with
such images. And he is worshipping in that image by attributing them as the
lord. Likewise, Satan entered in the serpent by basing on the cunning quality
in the Garden of Eden and made Adam and Eve to violate the command of the Lord
and changed them to give birth to the dynasty of the serpent. Even though the
serpent in the Garden of Eden was changed into the twisted serpent, this was a
cursed one.
So, the Satan is using the serpent immensely among the
heathen and makes it to stand as goddesses. And also, the Satan makes the
people to worship the serpent as the goddesses. But who told these people to
worship this serpent? If we think about this, we know that whoever is
surrounded by Satan, tell lies to these people to worship the serpent saying
that it is the image of the Lord. The Satan, who made the serpent to lie in
the Garden of Eden, is performing these deeds now by surrounding the dynasty of
the serpent. Even though the Lord God is punishing the serpent, which is
changing its image into many transfigurations, and its dynasty here and there,
lastly the Holy Bible says that the serpent changes as the wild beast on the
sea and go to the perdition.
Here, we must recognize that any cursed one is the
dwelling place of Satan. So, the race, heathen is worshipping the Serpent, who
is the dwelling place of Satan, and also saying that there is world for the Serpent.
In this world, there are most powerful serpents. This is called as the “Nagalokam”.
* Nagalokam: - it is written in Hindu theology. It is
the dwelling place of the serpent.
In this way, the dynasty of the serpent raises the name
of Satan and degraded the name of the Lord. So, the word of the Lord warns
them in Revelation 22:15.
“But outside are dogs and sorcerers and sexually immoral
and murderers and idolaters, and whoever loves and practices a lie”
......Revelation 22:15.
Here we must recognize the meaning in, “Outside”. “The outside”,
means the bottomless pit which was prepared for Satan and his angels.
So, Dear readers! We must reject the deeds of Satan and
the serpent which are against to the Lord and rectify our lives worthy for the
entry of the Heaven, the blessing of the Lord. Amen.
The first and foremost lie
Now the serpent was more cunning
than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the
woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the Garden?’”
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the
Garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the Garden, God
has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die”. And the
serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die”. For God knows that in
the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened and you will be like God,
knowing good and evil”. So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food,
that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she
took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he
ate.......Genesis 3:1-6.
Dear readers! Let us know about the first and foremost
lie and its plight from the original verse. If we say about an incident to someone,
later if we hear the same incident from anther, it is common that the same
incident changes according to their understanding. The same happened in this
incident.
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every
tree of the Garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”
.... Genesis 2:16-17.
The Lord God said this command to Adam, but not said to
Eve. But it is written in our original sentence that the Eve said about this
command to the serpent. If we think who told Eve, we know that the Lord God
and Satan did not tell her. The serpent, who was surrounded by Satan, also did
not tell Eve, because, the Serpent asked Eve to know about the forbidden tree
here.
And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You
shall not eat of every tree of the Garden?” .... Genesis 3:1.
Dear readers! Adam must be the one who told Eve about
this commandment. After Adam joined the woman, Eve, who was formed from his
bone and flesh, he would have said with Eve by showing the forbidden fruit tree
about the command of the Lord. The serpent, who was surrounded by the Satan,
and who was aloof from them, did not hear clearly about this matter. So, the
serpent, which was surrounded by the Satan, waited for the time, when Adam was
absent, said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, “You shall not eat of every
tree of the Garden?” It looks as though the serpent and Satan, who had the
little knowledge, extracted the matter from Eve about the fruit of the
forbidden tree. The serpent would have asked Adam about this question, he
would have told correctly what God said, because, he was the only person who
had this command from the Lord. But the serpent asked Eve by seeing her
loneliness.
Dear readers! Here, it looks as though the words of the
woman were exaggerated. Let us know what she talked in exaggerated manner
through the Scripture. The woman did not hear the command directly from the
Lord. So, the woman gave the information about the forbidden tree to the
serpent in exaggerated manner.
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit
of the trees of the Garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst
of the Garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it,
lest you die” .... Genesis 3:2-3.
What was the command of the Lord which the Lord God given to
Adam?
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every
tree of the Garden you may freely eat, but of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die”
.... Genesis 2:16-17.
If we scrutinize these two sentences clearly, even
though it looks similar in saying, has some exaggeration in the Eve’s saying.
That is, the woman did say to the serpent, “Nor shall you touch it”.
But, there is no specification of touching it or not in
the command, which the Lord God gave to Adam.
But, it is only written,
“You shall not eat” .... Genesis 2:16-17.
But, Eve said to the serpent by adding some more words,
“That nor shall you touch it”.
It looks like a lie, but it is the manner of
exaggeration.
But, what is the plight for the one, who said in
exaggerated manner? “For I testify to everyone who hears the words of the
prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to these things, God will add to him the
plague’s that are written in this book” ......Revelation 22:18.
According to the verse, the plagues, which were
entangled to the earth, is the Satan only. God gave this plague to Eve. The
Satan, who grasped these things, made the serpent to tell first and foremost
lie. And the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die”. For God
knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be
like God, knowing good and evil” .... Genesis 3:4-5. The mind of the woman was
turned on the tree of knowledge of good and evil to the exaggerated words of
her and by adding the first and foremost lie of the Satan through the serpent.
At that time, the Satan, who was the plague, which came by the exaggerated
words of the woman, surrounded her by leaving the serpent. So when the woman
saw that the tree was good for food that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a
tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave
to her husband along with her, and he ate. So, Adam and Eve violated the
command of the Lord and gone against the Lord. This first and foremost lie did
not end in the history of the Garden of Eden, but thrived day by day along with
people. We can read in the Holy Bible about plight of the lies.
“There is none righteous, no, not one; there is none who
understands; there is none who seeks after God, they have all gone out of the way”
......So Romans 3:10-12.
Eve was the first one to eat the forbidden fruit! Wasn’t she naked when she provoked Adam to sin?
“So when the woman saw that the
tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable
to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband
with her, and he ate” .... Genesis 3:6.
Dear readers! Before knowing this matter, there is a
need to know about the command of the Lord.
And the Lord God commanded the man, saying, “Of every
tree of the Garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good
and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it shall surely die”
......Genesis 2:16-17.
According to the chapter “The glorified white robes”
Adam and Eve had worn the gloried white robes in the Garden of Eden. But, they
did not know which is good and which is evil. If I say in one word, the life of
Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden is the life equal to the angels of heaven.
They did not know the quality of ashamed according to the Genesis 2:25. In such
situation, Satan provoked the woman through the serpent. Refer Genesis 3:1-7. Thereafter,
the woman took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her,
and he ate. Then the eyes of both of them were opened and they knew that they
were naked.
Dear readers! In our original sentence, firstly the
woman took of its fruit and ate. The quality of this fruit is to give the
knowledge of good and evil only. The eye of Eve was opened by the effect of
this fruit. The meaning in this is the eyes do not pertain to the body, but
the enlightenment of mind only. For this reason, the quality of ashamed
started in the woman. But, when she went near Adam, did she make him to do the
sin covering her nakedness or without covering her nakedness?
Dear readers! Already, we all know the matter that there
were no clothes for them to cover their nakedness. But, a question may arise
in our mind that the quality of ashamed would have not arisen in the woman. It
is written,
“Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they
knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made
themselves coverings” .... Genesis 3:7.
According to above verse, after the eyes of both of them
were opened, the quality of ashamed entered and started in them; and they sewed
fig leaves together and made themselves coverings. This incident happened after
the eyes of both of them opened. But, ahead of the man, the woman ate the
fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, how did she go before him? Did
she cover herself?
“But if a woman has long hair, it is a glory to her; for
her hair is given to her for a covering” ......I Corinthians 11:15.
According to this verse, after she ate the fruit of the
tree of knowledge of good and evil, the quality of ashamed entered in her, here
we must grasp that she probably covered her nakedness with her hair and went to
Adam. Amen.
The eyes of both of them were opened
“Then the eyes of both of them
were opened” ......Genesis 3:7.
Dear readers! It is written in our original verse, “That
the eyes of both of them were opened”. Were not the eyes of both of them opened
before? If not, even though they had eyes, had they no vision? If we read from
Genesis 3:1 to Genesis 3:7, it is written that Eve could see the serpent and
the tree of knowledge of good and evil. And also, Adam could see Eve and the
fruit which was given by Eve. But, it is written in our original sentence that
the eyes of both of them were opened. Let us know the inner meaning in this.
Then the Lord God said, “Behold, the man has become like
one of Us, to know good and evil” ......Genesis 3:22.
From this, we must grasp that the knowledge of good and
evil started in them after they ate the forbidden fruit. Till now whatever
they could not see, after eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and
evil, they could see.
For Ex: - Before they ate the forbidden fruit, they were
covered with the glorified white robes. But, they did not know this. But,
after they ate the forbidden fruit of knowledge of good and evil, they knew
that they were naked.
The meaning in, “The eyes of both of them were opened,
is to know in this way only.
Coverings
“They knew that they were naked;
and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves covering” .......Genesis
3:7.
Dear readers! The Garden of Eden is only the first and
fore most garden, which was formed in the creation with a group of great
trees. The place, in which all creatures lived in unity i.e., all cattle, all
birds of the air and every beast of the field is in the Garden of Eden only.
The central point to the pleasant atmosphere and to the divinity is the Garden
of Eden only.
Dear readers! The place, in which the Lord God was
walking before the consecration of His spirit in the body of a man, is the
Garden of Eden only. So, the Garden of Eden is called as the holy Garden. The
creatures, which lived in the Garden of Eden, were also the holy creatures. We
can understand from the prominent matters in the history of the Garden of Eden
that the first couple, being the children of the Lord in the holy garden, lived
as the partner in His spirit and in His inheritance, i.e. the Garden of Eden.
Firstly, let us know clearly about the Garden of Eden,
which the Lord God planted with His word. The Lord God did not plant the
Garden of Eden on the earth for His own sake. When the Lord God created the
man in His image and His likeness, He planted the Garden of Eden for the
existence of the man and for executing the spiritual test. That means the Lord
God planted this Garden to find the nature of man as the testing center.
As the first test for Adam, the Lord God said to him,
“Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the
knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it
you shall surely die”.
Like this, the Lord God commanded to the man. It is
proved to us from the incident of talking between the serpent and woman in her
loneliness that the Lord God tested the faith of Eve and the cunningness of the
serpent in the testing center called Garden of Eden. Here, we must know that
the Lord tested the nature of Eve by handing over to the temptation of Satan.
The Lord God was hidden to the eyes of Eve in this test and made her aloof from
Adam and performed His test upon Eve. If Adam and Eve would have been moved
together, the tempting test would have not happened. Likewise, Lord God handed
over Jesus to the temptation of Satan after he was baptized and received the
Holy Spirit. If we read Matthew 4:13, it is proved that the Lord God performed
the temptation towards the Lord Christ through the Satan. Likewise, the Lord
God subjected Eve who was in the Garden of Eden for the test of faith. Not
only she failed in this test, but also she made her husband to eat the
forbidden fruit to make him a partner in her failure. In this context, also,
the Lord God gave a test to Adam regarding his spiritual state. Is he going to
give prominence to words of Eve? Or will he follow My command? When Eve made
Adam to eat the forbidden fruit as the test of the Lord, at this situation
also, the Lord God hid Himself from Adam. For this reason, the history of the
man and woman proves that the man and woman both were fallen away by Satan in
the Garden of Eden.
Dear readers! The reason for the fallen away of the
first couple in this way is the attractive teaching of the cunning serpent of
the field and the attraction of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil,
instead of the attraction towards the Lord. The Eve yielded to these two
attractions.
Even though the serpent was invisible to the man, he was
attracted by the woman, who ate the earthly fruit of the knowledge of good and
evil, and was in the grip of sin by forgetting the divinity. According to the
effect of the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil in the couple, who were
fallen in to the grip of sin, they lost the glorified white robes then and
there. And also, they knew that they were naked and they sewed fig leaves
together and made themselves coverings. Here, we must grasp this a temporary solution,
because the clothes, ornaments, etc., which are used for covering the nakedness
are not permanent.
Dear readers! It may be said that the meaning for the
covering here is to cover the nakedness. Who created the thought in them to
prepare the coverings? Is the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil! Here,
the knowledge of the Lord is not with them, so, they prepared the fig leaves as
the coverings by the tree of knowledge of good and evil and wore it.
The walking of the Lord in the Garden of Eden
“And they heard the sound of the
Lord God walking in the Garden in the cool of the day” ......Genesis 3:8.
“The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was
on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of
the waters” .......Genesis 1:2.
At first while the Spirit of God was hovering over the
face of the waters in this way, He created everything, which we are seeing
now. Likewise, after the Lord God formed the Garden of Eden and Adam, He used
to walk in the Garden of Eden also.
Dear readers! The Lord God had how much love on the
first man Adam; the Lord God had that much love on the nation of the Lord, the
Israelites. If I say in one word, the Lord God had abundant love upon the
dynasty of Jacob, the Israelites, more than Adam in the Garden of Eden. So, it
is written in this way.
“God so loved the world” ...... John 3:16.
From this, we know that the love of God had no boundary.
The Lord God walked more amidst the Israelites than with Adam and His created
creatures in the Garden of Eden. The surprise is that the Lord God did not
perform any miracle for Adam in the Garden of Eden. But, the Lord God favored
Adam the grasping power when He formed the woman from his rib. That much only,
but there is no proof that the Lord God performed the miracles through Adam in
the Garden of Eden, but the Lord God performed many miracles through Moses, who
was the first leader and the prophet to the divine nation, Israelites. There
is no need to write about these miracles. We are aware of them already.
How did God save the Israelites? It is written in the
Holy Bible that the Lord God moved as a pillar of cloud in the day and as a
pillar of fire in the night. But, there is no proof that the Lord God moved in
the Garden of Eden for Adam as a pillar of cloud in the day and as a pillar of
fire in the night. It is written,
“They heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the
Garden in the cool of the day.” ...... Genesis 3:8.
But, there are no proofs that the Lord God was attached
to Adam day and night.
Dear readers! In this way, the Lord God, who did not
perform any miracle in the matter of Adam, performed many miracles amidst the
Israelites after they were selected. We can read about this in Exodus. From
here onwards, the Lord was performing the miracles of every kind in the matter
of the prophets and was moving amidst them.
Ex:-In the book Daniel, the Lord God moved amidst of
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed – Nego in the burning fiery furnace.
Dear readers! God was born amidst the Jews in the form
of Christ and performed many miracles. How about now in the period of grace?
Is the Lord God moving among us? Let us know about this.
“For where two or three are gathered together in My
name, I am there in the midst of them” ......Matthew 18:20.
According to the words, which the Lord Jesus said, when
we are gathered together in the Lord’s name, the spirit of Christ is moving
amidst us. If the spirit of Christ is moving, we must grasp that there is a
great chance to happen many miracles. But, why is the Lord God, who moved
amidst His devotees, walked in the Garden of Eden? The one, who walked in the
Garden of Eden, was not the Son of God. The one, who walked in the Garden of
Eden, was not the Holy Spirit. The one, who walked in the Garden of Eden, was not
the angels of the Lord. The Creator, the Lord God Himself walked in the Garden
of Eden.
Dear readers! We already knew that the Lord God did come
for His people, but it does not appear that the Lord God came for Adam in the
Garden of Eden.
As in Genesis 3:8-9, Adam heard the sound of the Lord,
who was talking to another one. But, this Adam was moving fearlessly in the
Garden of Eden before he entered in to the sin. The Lord God saw this and went
on His way.
But, this time, Adam did enter into the sin and the eyes
of them were opened. They knew that they were naked. So, they were ashamed.
For this reason, they were afraid and hid themselves behind the trees.
Whenever Adam hid behind the trees by hearing the sound of the Lord, the Lord
God did not find the couple who were moving fearlessly. A thought entered in
the mind of the Lord that where they would have gone? Or, where were they? So,
the Lord God called Adam and said to him, where are you?” During previous days,
the Lord did not ask Adam, who was moving fearlessly. But, He asked Adam on
that day, because he was not seen to Him. But it is written that Adam heard the
sound of the Lord in the Garden of Eden. If we think spiritually that with
whom the Lord God conversed? We can know clearly one divine secret.
Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was
light......Genesis 1:3.
This light is the Lord Jesus Christ.
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were
made though Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was
life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness did not comprehend it” ......John 1:1-5,
From this, we know that the Lord Jesus Christ was before
the birth of earth. The Lord Christ performed His action as the light when
this creation was created, there after the Lord Christ lived in the Garden of
Eden in the form of the tree of Life. As it says in Genesis 3:22 that whoever
eats the fruits of the tree of life, he lives forever.
Likewise, we know clearly that whoever partakes in the
blood and flesh of the Lord Christ, he also lives, forever. So, the tree of
life is fore symbol to Christ. So, the Lord Christ lived in the Garden of Eden
in the form of a tree of life.
Dear readers! Here we must grasp that the sound, which
Adam heard, was the voice of the Lord, when He was talking to the Lord Jesus
Christ, who was in the form of the tree of life. Because,
The Lord Christ said “I and My Father are one”. ....
John 10:30. So, the Lord God was talking with Christ, who was in the form of a
tree of life in the cool of the day about His deeds. Amen.
Where are you?
Then the Lord God called to Adam
and said to him, “Where are you?” .......Genesis 3:9.
Dear readers! One question may arise in us, that why God
is asking this question when He knows everything? Even in our modern world,
the judge in the court house gives a chance to speak for the accused when investigating
the crime. If the accused accepts his crime in this investigation, the
punishment will be less. Suppose, if the accused did not accept his crime then
the punishment will be more. We already know these things.
But, the Lord God, who knew that where Adam was and what
crime he did, asked Adam to know that what he will tell, that means the Lord
God tested Adam whether he will accept or not. Here, another doubt may arise
in us that does not the Lord God know that whether Adam will accept or not.
Because the Lord God is Almighty, He knows everything. But, Adam became the
wise man to know good and evil by eating the fruit of the tree of knowledge of
good and evil.
By this reason, the Lord God, who grasped that Adam had
the knowledge of good and evil, called Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”
In this a great secret is hidden.
As long as the man lived with the Lord God, he was in
the inheritance of the Lord. After he violated the command of the Lord, the
first man forgot the state in which he was! In which way Lord God and he lived
that also he forgot and he got into fear instead of getting in to the
fellowship with the Lord. Thereafter, he came to know of his nakedness, which
he already had, and became the common man, and covered their nakedness with the
leaves of fig tree, and took shelter behind it.
So, the Lord God called Adam and said to him, “Where are
you?” Adam was himself responsible for the sin he committed. The one who knew
the command of the Lord and the secrets of the Spirit of the Lord was Adam.
The one, who knew the secrets in the construction of the creation, was Adam.
Adam, who knew the construction of the woman from his rib as in Genesis 2:21-22
in his spiritual state, lost the aroma in the fellowship of the Lord. So, the
Lord God called Adam and said to him, “Where are you? The meaning in this is,
till yesterday you are with Me, and I am with you, but now, where are you? The
answer, which Adam gave to the Lord, is astonishing one. Adam, who was formed
as the image of the Lord with handsome figure without any fear, said to the
Lord, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked;
and I hid myself” ...... Genesis 3:10.
Dear readers! How many times Adam heard the voice of the
Lord? How many times he would have spent time with the Lord God, how many times
he would have moved together with Lord? Adam forgot all these on this day and
said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked;
and I hid myself”.
How much regretful it is!
Is it proper for Adam, who lost the fellowship of the
Lord, his inheritance, holy life and union with the Lord in the Garden of Eden,
to hide himself as a coward? In this way, Adam informed the Lord God about his
downfall, but did not tell the Lord about his sin, which he did already.
Dear readers! Adam said before the Lord, “I am naked”.
Adam, who said that I was naked, is the child of the Lord. Today, the child of
Christ, who hides before the world, does not accept Christ openly.
Dear readers! According to the above answer, Adam, who
was with the Lord till now, “Where are you by eating fruit of the forbidden
tree?” Where Adam was! He was hidden behind the tree, because he was afraid.
That means he was entangled in the grip of Satan. So, he was afraid to come
before the Lord as the culprit. Not only that, there is no obstacle between
Adam and the Lord before this. But, now Adam kept the tree between the Lord
and him, and answered the Lord. In this way, one veil was formed between the
man and the Lord. Thereafter, the Lord God performed His deeds secretly behind
the veil as the Lord of Israel. For this reason, the main prophets, high
priests, etc., only could see the Lord. The remaining people could not see the
Lord directly. So, it is to say that a veil was formed between the Lord and
man, but, we cannot forget that the Lord Christ stood between the Lord and man
by removing the veil through the His death and resurrection. Here we must grasp
one thing that the Lord God investigated Cain in Genesis 4:9 like above.
Likewise, the Lord investigates every man’s sin and
trespasses. So ahead of the Lord, it is good for us to accept our sins and
trespasses before Him”. Amen.
Fear
“I heard Your voice in the garden,
and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself” ......Genesis 3:10.
Dear readers! Here, the quality of fear can be noticed.
Before this incident, when the Lord God was speaking to Adam, the fear was
absent. Also, there was no fear in Eve. Even the serpent had no fear. When
Adam ate the forbidden fruit, the quality of the fear entered in the human
beings and in the animals.
Dear readers! This fear is started from the Garden of
Eden and followed each and every human being, creatures, etc., till today.
But, this fear is not formed from the birth of man. When the Lord God created
the man, He did not create him as the fearful. That means the Lord God did not
create him as the coward.
It is written,
“But, the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers,
sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in
the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” ....
Revelation 21:8.
If Adam was formed with the qualities of fear and
cowardice, the Lord God wouldn’t have kept him in the Garden of Eden. The
reason for the cowardice is the fear. This fear performs its action in
different methods from one creature to another and one man to another. The
foundation to this fear is the fruit of tree of knowledge of good and evil
amidst the Garden of Eden. The man, who ate this fruit along with his wife,
did not have courage to speak before the Lord. Immediately after eating the
fruit of the forbidden tree the quality of the fear entered in the man and
woman. In this way, the fear was placed in the animals, birds, fishes, etc.,
each and every one in the creation through the violation of the command of the
Lord by the first couple. The man lost his freedom in this vast universe. And
the man became a coward. And, the man lost his worthiness to stand before the
Lord.
Dear readers! The Lord God said to the man, who yielded
to the quality of fear, as in Psalms 125:1 that you add this quality of fear to
the devotion and keep it in the Lord.
“Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord who walks in His
ways” .... Psalms 128:1.
From this, we must fear the Lord only. But, the Lord
said that you should not be afraid of any one or in any matter, except to the
Lord.
Dear readers! We are commonly seen
in the Holy Bible and also in the neighbors that the human beings are afraid in
every matter. Likewise, in the matter of John, the Lord, who appeared in the
vision of John, said,
“Do not be afraid?”
Revelation 1:17.
So, here we must grasp that the
Lord did not create the quality of fear in the man. The quality of fear will
not go away Just because we grasped this matter. But, just as it is said in
Psalms, the one, who fought with the Satan by keeping fear in the Lord, gets
the victory over the Satan; he can become heir to the kingdom of the Lord.
Amen.
Who told you that you were naked?
And He said, “Who told you that you
were naked?” .... Genesis 3:11.
Dear readers! God knows everything
then why did He ask that question to Adam? The breath of life, which was blown
in man by the Lord, had the power of knowledge to know the deeds that happened
and the future. So, the Lord God consecrated the spirit, which had the capacity
to know the birth secret of a woman, who came out from the rib and flesh by the
Lord, in man. So, the prime history of the creation of human being explains to
us that the man had the power which was equal to the power of the Lord. The
Lord God, who knows the inner most thoughts of the Lucifer, the musician, who
had the privilege of main position in every matter in His proximity and who was
the beloved one among His angels investigated the future of the man, who was
created by Him, and put one command before the man. The Lord God tested Adam
through this command and cursed Him to weaken his life span and the power of
his spirit. Thus, the man became a worldly man.
If man remains the same in the
proximity of the Lord, the Garden of Eden, he was in useless state without off
spring. So, the Lord God had not desired in man that he should not have off
-spring. So, the Lord God leaves His hand to tempt Adam through the Satan. At
first, the Lord God gave the authority to Adam to rule over this creation,
except the five elements. The Lord God kept the five elements in His control.
The Lord God felt that if the five elements are under the control of man, he
will not be submissive to Him. So, the Lord kept the five elements in His
control. The Lord God had the thought that if He created the man without death
as the stable one on the earth, the man forgets Him.
So, He gave one command in the form
of a fruit to keep the man in His control through the deed of death.
Besides, is it wrong to eat such
fruit?
This question may arise in us. It
is wrong, because God the Creator is the father for the cause of the birth of
human beings on the earth. Is it not the sin to go against the words of the
father? It is proved from this incident that the Lord God followed this
doctrine only. Just as the son, who goes against the father, loses his grace,
in the same way, Adam, who violated the command of the Lord, lost the grace
form the Father, the Lord God. Not only Adam lost the parental affection from
the Lord, but also he lost the divine proximity i.e., the Garden of Eden. And
he was subjected to the punishment of death, natural calamities, etc.
Dear readers! Now, we came to the
effort in which we must think spiritually. While the serpent, which was
surrounded the tree, spoke to the woman, and he did not tell that you were
naked, because the Satan was naked. So, he moves in the darkness, because he
pertains to the dark. He cannot come to the light. He cannot be adjusted to
the light. So, the serpent did not utter about the first couple that you were
naked.
Here, we must have attention
towards the words of the Lord to Adam, “That who told you that you were naked?
The serpent did not tell that you
were naked.
The Eve also did not converse to
Adam about their nakedness.
Dear readers! As along as Adam
became a wise man by eating the fruit of knowledge of good and evil, he could
not grasp that he had the glorified white robes. That means he lived as an
infant. To remember the life style of Adam to present day’s human beings, the
infants are born with nakedness. From the birth to the 4th year, the child,
born from the womb does not know that he/she is naked. We are seeing commonly
that our children are also moving naked before us. Thereafter, we are adorning
them with frocks, shirts, pants etc., this is common matter. Even though the
parents are silent by seeing the nakedness of our children, it is common that
our neighbors calling our children and says, “Oh! Young child put on some cloths.”
But the Satan, who spoke through
the serpent, did not teach about their nakedness to them.
Dear readers! Thus, who told Adam
that you were naked?
The answer to this is written in
the second part of Genesis 3:11. “Have you eaten from the tree
of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” .... Genesis 3:11.
The Lord God asked this question to
Adam.
What did the Lord God ask?
And He said, “Who told you that you
were naked?” Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you
should not eat?......Genesis 3:11.
From this, we must grasp that the
one, who made Adam and Eve to know their nakedness, was the tree of knowledge
of good and evil, which was forbidden to eat by the Lord. Amen.
Never ending punishments
Which punishments and to whom did
the Lord God give them? We can know about this clearly from Genesis 3:12-19.
Even though it appears that the Lord God punished Adam, Eve, serpent, and
earth, but these punishments are suffering human race as a shade from
generation to the generation. Let us understand the severity and pain of these
punishments given by God.
Then the man said, “The woman whom You gave to be with
me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate” .... Genesis 3:12.
According to this verse Adam knew clearly about the
fruit, from where Eve had taken. And also, he knows about the fruit clearly
that was forbidden by the Lord. But, if the Lord asked Adam and said, “Have you
eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?” Adam put
accuse upon Eve. But, Adam knew clearly that the fruits given to him were from
forbidden tree. So, he said, “The woman whom You gave to be with me, she gave
me of the tree, and I ate”. Here by Saying, “Of the tree”, we must grasp that
the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil. If he ate unknowingly, it
is to be compromised, “Alas! He did not know, because, he was innocent”. But,
Adam did the sin knowingly. Adam did the sin without speaking a single word to
Eve about the fruit, when he was passionate to the beauty of Eve, because Eve
ate the forbidden fruit firstly and lost her glorified white robes, and came
near Adam by covering her secret beauty with her hair as in Corinthians 11:15.
Till now, Adam was with glorified white robes. Till
now, Adam saw the woman, who covered by the glorified white robes. Now, the
same woman lost her glorified white robes and came to Adam by covering her
secret parts with her hair. Adam saw the beauty of the woman firstly, so he
was passionate towards her. So, even though the fruit, which she gave, was forbidden
by the Lord God, he ate. For this reason, the Lord God said in Genesis 2:24 in
this way.
“Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and
be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh” ......Genesis 2:24.
Because the beauty of the woman made Adam to eat the
fruit of the tree without single word, even he knew that this fruit was
forbidden by the Lord. In this connection, we must recognize that how much
powerful this beauty.
Dear readers! Here, it is proved that Adam sinned. Still
the Lord investigated the second person Eve.
And the Lord said to the woman, “What is this you have
done? And the woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate” .......Genesis
3:13.
According to this verse, when the Lord said to the
woman, “What is this you have done? The woman did not accept the sin, which
happened through her by eating the forbidden fruit of the Lord, like Adam and
said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate”. In this way, the woman, Eve also
showed her crime upon the serpent. But, if we read from Genesis 3:1 to the
Genesis 3:6 we know the desired words of the serpent with Eve about the fruit
of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit
of the trees of the garden; but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst
of the Garden, God has said, “You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it,
lest you die” ......Genesis 3:2-3.
Not only she took of its fruits and ate knowingly, but
also she made Adam to eat. From this, it is proved that the woman also sinned.
Dear readers! When the Lord said to the woman, “What is
this you have done?” The woman was showed her crime upon the serpent. But, the
Lord God did not investigate the beast of the field. The serpent, it is
written in Genesis 3:14-15 that the Lord punished the serpent directly. Why
did the Lord God not investigate the serpent? Let us know about this matter in
this connection. We can read in Genesis 2:7 that the Lord God gave His spirit
to Adam. A part of the spirit, which the Lord God given to Adam, Eve was made
from him. But, the Lord God did not favor His spirit to any beasts, birds,
etc., which was on the earth. Besides, Adam and Eve had become wise to know
good and evil by eating the forbidden fruit of the Lord. The Lord God
investigated only Adam and gave punishments.
Dear readers! Let us know which punishments and to whom,
did the Lord God had given here.
The first punishment which the
Lord God gave to the serpent – So, the Lord God said to the serpent. “Because
you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every
beast of the field; on your belly, you shall go, and you shall eat the dust all
the days of your life. And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and
between your seed and her seed; He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise
His heal” ......Genesis 3:14-15.
Dear readers! According to this verse, the serpent had
the wings and legs before the curse. After the curse, the serpent lost his
wings and legs and we are seeing now that the serpent is crawling on its
belly. But, just the Lord God cursed the serpent; it must eat the dust all the
days of its life!
But, we are seeing that the serpents are living by
eating the small animals. We have the need to know that how it happened?
Before the curse, we know that the food for the serpent was not the dust. But,
the serpent ate different kinds of food materials according to the
determination of the Lord. But, after the curse of the Lord, even though all
the serpents are eating different kinds of food, the dust is mixed in the main
food in every serpent.
Dear readers! Totally, all the race of the serpents
lives in the dust. They eat the dust or not, their life, the dwelling place,
each and everything are in the dust only. That means the race of serpents,
which lived in branches of the great trees freely is living in the dust hills,
the crakes of the stones, the burrows of the ground, etc.
Is it not the result of the curse from the Lord God?
The second punishment which the Lord God gave to the
woman: - To the woman He said: “I will greatly multiply your sorrow and
your conception; in pain you shall bring forth children; your desire shall be
for your husband, and he shall rule over you” ......Genesis 3:16.
Dear readers! Each and every woman has the experience of
this punishment in their life, except the barren woman. Even though, the labor
pains are terrible, we cannot forget that she gave birth to the child. We are
commonly heard that the woman, who gave birth to child just now, says that I
will never conceive again and I do not want children again. But, we are
commonly seeing that the same woman will conceive again after some months. The
reason for this is the curse which the Lord God gave to the woman.
“Your desire shall be for your husband”.
But, the Lord said to the woman, “He shall rule over
you”.
It is not the meaning in this that the woman is a
kingdom, he rules her according to his will. So, he shall not do anything to
the woman according to his will. But, he shall rule over the woman. In which way,
shall he rule? In which way, the Christ becomes the head to the Church, in the
same way man becomes the head to the woman. As Christ tortured the church? Or
does the Christ love the church? Determine yourself. The meaning in this is he
shall rule the woman in this way.
Dear readers! The Lord God created the enmity between
the seed of serpent and the seed of woman. We are commonly seeing that it is
happening even today also according to the words.
The third punishment which the
Lord God gave to the man - Then to Adam He said, “Because you have heeded
the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree of which I commanded you,
saying, ‘You shall not eat of it’: Cursed is the ground for your sake; in toil you
shall eat of it all the days of your life. Both thorns and thistles it shall
bring forth for you, and you shall eat the herb of the field. In the sweat of
your face you shall eat bread till you return to the ground, for out of it you
were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you shall return” .... Genesis
3:17-19.
Dear readers! Before Adam was cursed, we must observe
that the earth was cursed in the third punishment. By this reason only, the
earth does not give the fertility to the crop now comparatively the earth gave
the fertility to the Garden of Eden. The man toils days together to get the
crop. But, we are commonly seeing that the different kinds of thistles and
thorns are growing along with the crop and the farmer wrests thistles and
thorns.
The Lord, who cursed the earth in this way, said “you
shall eat of it all the days of your life in toil”.
Lastly He said, “For dust you are, and to dust you shall
return”. The proof for this is the burial programs, which are held in these
days. The Lord God formed the man from the dust of the ground. So, the body of
man mixes in the dust lastly.
But, the Ecclesiasts says that the spirit, which kept in the
man, will return to God who gave it.
Dear readers! In this way, the Lord God punished. There is
a peculiarity in these punishments. That is, even though this fault occurred in
the Garden of Eden, we are experiencing these punishments from generations to generations.
Amen.
The mothers in our life
“And Adam called his wife’s name
Eve, because she was the mother of all living” .......Genesis 3:20.
Dear reader! There is one specialty in our life which no
creature is having in this world. The mother of any creature in the creation is
one only. In the matter of the race of birds, one bird keeps her egg in another
nest. In this connection, the bird of hatches the eggs is another one. Ex: -
cuckoo. The bird cuckoo keeps her eggs in the nest of crow and runs away. But
the crow hatches out the eggs of the cuckoo as her eggs and fed the young
cuckoo as her child. Likewise, we are also hatch out the egg of duck under the
hen. The surprise is the young bird that is hatched out, grows up and tries to
reach its own race without any gratitude. In reality, only one mother who
brought us up appears to us. But, if we think in spiritual view, there are
seven mothers to us according to the Scripture. Let us know about them.
1. Earth: - The earth is the mother to the first man.
Genesis 3:19, “For dust you are, and to dust you shall return” .... Genesis
3:19.
So, the earth is the mother of the first man Adam. We
know clearly that the earth the mother fed the first man Adam with her produce
and gave pleasant atmosphere.
2. Eve: - “And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because
she was the mother of all living.” ......Genesis 3:20.
3. Sarah & Virgin Mary: - Sarah was the wife of a
divine faithful one Abraham. Abraham is the father of faith. So, she was the
mother to faithful nation. Each and every one, who was in divine faith, was the
son of Sarah and Abraham. Likewise, the mother Mary is the mother to everyone,
who believes in the Lord Christ. For this, The Lord Jesus directly and
practically handed His mother to His disciple on the Cross, said, “Behold your
mother!” By saying, “Behold your mother!” She stood as the mother to everyone,
who are living as Christian by accepting Christ as the Lord. There is no church
in this world without uttering the name of Mother of Jesus in their sermons.
The reason is,
“For He has regarded the lowly state of His maidservant;
on behold, henceforth all generations will call me blessed” .... Luke1:48.
So, all generations call her as blessed one among the
women.
4. Babylon: - “And on her forehead, a name was written:
Mystery, Babylon the great, the mother of harlots and of the abominations of
the earth” .........Revelation 17:5.
The father of lie is Satan. The mother to the abominable
deeds, unholy deeds, and unjust is the Babylon. The mother of the unholy church
is the Babylon. The food and drinks of this mother is the body and blood of the
martyrs of Christ. It is written in Revelation 17:6 that the Babylon drunk with
the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus.
5. Rebekah: - And they blessed Rebekah and said to her:
“Our sister, may you become the mother of thousands of ten thousand; and may
your descendants possess the gates of those who hate them”. ...Genesis 24:60.
Jacob, who born through this womb, fought with God and
became fore father to 12 tribes of nation, Israelites. The mother, who gave
birth to such man, was arranged as the mother to the Israelites.
6. The Earthly Jerusalem: - “Jerusalem which now is, and
is in bondage with her children” .......Galatians 4:25.
This is our church in which we are. In New Testament,
the mother Mary gave birth to the Son of God. We, as the people of today’s Era,
have the fortune to worship true God through the Son who was born through her.
The Lord Jesus formed the church as His bride. This is our mother. The surprise
fact is that the church, the bride is the wife of Christ spiritually. Now, even
though the church, in which we are, has the name, the earthly Jerusalem, this
is the church formed by Christ and is the fellowship of Christians. So, it is
called as the church of Christ. From this, the Christ is the head of the
church. This church became the bride to the Lord Christ. Now, the head to the
woman is man. The head of the church is the Christ. The head of the Christ is
the Lord God. The sixth mother is the earthly Jerusalem.
7. The heavenly Jerusalem: - “But the Jerusalem above is
free, which is the mother of us all” .......Galatians 4:26.
“This heavenly Jerusalem, the holy city coming down out
of heaven from God prepared as a bride adorned for her husband”. .........Revelation
21:2.
“Come, I will show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife” ......Revelation
21:9.
The tunics of skin
“Also for Adam and his wife the
Lord God made tunics of skin, and clothed them” ......Genesis 3:21.
Dear readers! The Lord God clothed Adam and Eve with
glorified white robes and kept them in the Garden of Eden as the light of the
garden. But, Adam and Eve ate the fruit of knowledge of good and evil which
the Lord commanded the man not to eat and had gone against to the Lord. In this
connection, the privilege, which the Lord God favored them, was lost. In this
place, the knowledge of good and evil was joined with human beings. Is the knowledge
of good and evil alone sufficient without the divine help? If we think a
little, we will understand that it is not sufficient.
Dear readers! The first and foremost work, which Adam
and Eve did after they achieved the knowledge of good and evil, sewed leaves
together. Here, we must grasp that the Lord God gave this knowledge of sewing
through the fruit of knowledge of good and evil. Today, the man is preparing
different garments with different kinds of fashions. It we keep the types of garment,
which was prepared from Adam till today, in the exhibition, we can grasp that
our life period is insufficient to see them. In this way, the Lord God gave
the knowledge to the man to prepare surprising articles through the fruit of
the knowledge of good and evil. So, we see the surprising articles in our life.
But, the base for this knowledge is the Lord God given fruit only.
Dear readers! These articles are working in two ways as
the name of the tree.
Ex: - The knife: - It is used in two folds either to cut
the vegetables or to kill the man.
Pen: - It is also use in two folds to write either good
or the evil. In this way, there is good and evil in every article.
Dear readers! The Lord God cursed Adam and Eve, who
violated against His command, and made the tunics of skin and clothed them
before they were driven out from the Garden of Eden. But, it is appearing to
us that the Lord God showed compassion towards them even thought, the Lord God
drove them out from the Garden of Eden. Here, let us know why the Lord God
gave the tunics of skin and why He drove them out? The Lord God is the image of
love. So, He made the tunics of skin and gave to the first couple. The final
meaning in this is, the Lord said as the example to us again, “I will favor the
salvation”. That means, the Lord God said to us that He will incarnate in the
form of human being and favour us with the glorified white robes as Christ.
So, the Lord God incarnated in this world in the form of Christ and favored the
glorified white robe as the Lord Christ.
“For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have
put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor
free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus”. ....
Galatians 3:27-28.
The Lord made the tunics of skin and clothed them in the
Garden of Eden as a symbol to future salvation which will bring glorified white
robe as the Lord Christ.
Dear readers! After Adam and Eve violated the command of
the Lord, the Lord God thought that they were unworthy to live in the Garden of
Eden. So, He sent them out of the Garden of Eden. But, the same Lord said as in
Revelation 2:7 that I will the fruits of tree of life, which is in the midst of
the paradise of God. That means, the Lord God promised us, that He will give
the entry in the Garden to Eden, which is in the paradise, to the one, who over
comes the world, worldly deeds, Satan and his deeds. That day, we will become
holy like Adam and Eve, same as before the violation in the Garden, that day
the Lord desired to live us in the Garden of Eden and gave us the chance to
enter in it again. This is called as the small heaven named paradise.
The heaven is the place, in which the Lord God lives.
The small heaven, namely the Paradise, is the place before the entry in the
Heaven for the holy people. In the connection of the penance of the cross, the
Lord Christ gave the entry in the Garden of Eden to the thief on right side.
That means he gave the entry in the Paradise. That means He gave the chance
for the thief to eat the fruits of the tree of life.
Dear readers! Now we need to know that how the Lord God
prepared the tunics of skin in the Garden of Eden. Not only that, we have the
need to know that from which animal was the Lord killed and prepared the tunics
of the skin?
“He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the
world” ......1 Peter 1:20.
In this way, the Lord Jesus Christ was foreordained as
the light by the Spirit of the Lord in Genesis 1:3. This light divided everything
from the darkness. Thereafter, the Lord Jesus Christ performed His deeds in
the Garden of Eden as the tree of life. Thereafter, in the matter of Adam and
Eve, the Lord Jesus Christ appeared as the lamb as the symbol that He will
incarnate in this world to redeem us from our sins. Just as Abraham sacrificed
the lamb instead of his son Isaac, in the same way the Lord Jesus Christ
appeared in the Garden of Eden as the Lamb and was sacrificed by the Lord. And
the Lord God made the tunics of skin through Lambs skin, and clothed them.
“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain to receive power and
riches and wisdom, and strength and honor and glory and blessing” .... Revelation
5:12.
In this way, the Lord Jesus Christ was fore ordained
before the formation of this world and was sacrificed in the matter of Adam and
Eve, and Eve and favored the tunics of skin as the salvation armor. Thereafter,
the Lord Jesus Christ was born in the New Testament and sacrificed for our sins
to created permanent salvation.
From this we must grasp that the tunics of skin are the symbol
for the permanent salvation of Jesus. Amen.
Precautionary measures from God
“Then the Lord God said, “Behold,
the man has become like one of Us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he put
out his hand and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live forever”-
therefore the Lord God sent him out of the Garden of Eden to till the ground
from which he was taken. So, He drove out the man; and He placed cherubim at
the east of the Garden of Eden, and a planning sword which turned every way, to
guard the way to the tree life” .......Genesis 3:22-24.
Dear readers! Here we can observe that the Lord God Himself
took precautionary measures in the matter of man because the man had become
like the Lord to know good and evil. If the Satan added with Adam and provoke
him to eat the fruit of tree of life and live forever as sinners without
repentance, so the Lord God, who grasped this took precautionary measures.
This question is between the everlasting life and death.
But, the Lord sent them out from the Garden of Eden
before their knowledge comes on the fruit of the tree of life.
And He placed cherubim at the east of the Garden of
Eden, so that the man could not enter in it again.
Not only that, suppose, if man crossed the cherubim, he
placed a flaming sword which turned every way to guard the way to the tree of
life.
In this way, the Lord God cared about the Lord Christ,
who was in the form of the tree of life.
In which way, the Lord God cared in the matter of
Christ, in the same way, we also must be careful in the matter of Satan, and
trust in the Lord Christ to be joined in the proximity of the Lord again. Amen.
How could Adam, who could see the creation of woman in his sleep, not find the sin of the woman?
Then the rib which the Lord God had
taken from man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And Adam said:
“This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man” .......Genesis 2:22-23.
“But of the fruit of the tree which
is in the midst of the Garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall
you touch it, lest you die.’” And the serpent said to the woman, “You will not
surely die”. For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be
opened and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” So when the woman saw
that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree
desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to
her husband with her, and he ate.......Genesis 3:3-6.
Dear readers! In the Holy Bible, there
is a great secret hidden in the creation woman which is impossible to grasp. That
means, when the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall on Adam, and he slept. And
he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place, and he made into
a woman, when He brought her to the man, Adam who woke up from the sleep said,
“This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman,
because she was taken out of Man”. If the man explained clearly about the deed
that happened in unconscious state, here, we must imagine how great is the
power of the breath of life, which was kept in the man by the Lord.
When the woman, who heard the words
of serpent and ate the fruits of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil,
gave the fruits to the man, who had such great powerful breath of life, why
could he not grasp the details of the fruit that was given to him?
What happened to the effect of the
breath of life in Adam, who knew the construction of Eve, could not recognize
the fault that was done by the her and ate the fruit without any fear or
hesitation?
Let us know about this now.
In that critical juncture, the
Lord’s power, which was in the man, was hidden. Even though, Adam was filled
with Lord’s breath of life and was the child of the Lord, there is a plan to
spread the human race in this world through the woman. The promise about this
plan is written in Genesis 1:28.
“Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it”
.... Genesis 1:28.
There was a promise, so we must
grasp that the effect of the powerful breath of life, which was in Adam, was
curtailed and hidden.
How? The Lord Jesus Christ also was
the Son of God like Adam. He was powerful more than Adam and did not belong to
this world. He, who was reckoning as the son of Lord, did many miracles and
signs, healed the sick, cured the handicapped and raised the dead to life, and
proved the Lord’s glory on the earth. He could notice the bleeding woman touch
among huge crowd as could feel the passing of His power. It so happened to
such powerful Lord Christ that He was seized, whipped and scourged by the
people, and was subjected to the unjust judgment, and was punished to be nailed
on the cross and died. Who caused this? Is it Satan or Lord God? Of course, we
all know that it is Lord God.
Likewise, Adam could not grasp the
deed which the woman did. Just as Jesus was feeble in His matter, in the same
way Adam also lost his spiritual power and became a slave of the woman and
sinned. Likewise, the Lord Jesus Himself lowered before the Lord God and
fought with the powers of the world as an ordinary man, died and raised. Again,
He appeared to His children as the light and will come like a king in His
second coming.
Dear readers! Likewise, if we read
the history of Job, we can read that the Lord God handed over Job to the
Satan. In the same way, the Lord God also handed over even the Lord Christ to
the Satan. Adam, who lost the power of spiritual grasping, could not know grasp
the woman’s fault. So, Adam who yielded to the temptation lost everything of
him. But, Job, who did not yield to the temptation, gained more than what he
lost. The Lord Jesus Christ, who did not yield to the temptation, gained the
throne of the Lord God and will come to judge us again in His second coming.
Not only that, the Lord God will hand over each and
every one to the Satan. The one, who over comes the temptation, the Lord
Christ favors the great blessings.
Actions of forbidden fruit
Dear readers! Are you grasping this at any time?
The first couple, who violated Lord’s commandment by the
effect of the fruit of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, which was
admired by the Satan through the serpent, were made as the worldly persons by
being separated from the spiritual life. After this, in which forms, is the
tree of knowledge of good and evil performing its action from those days to
these days? The reason for not grasping this is due to the effect of the fruit
of the tree of knowledge of good and evil only.
Even though the name of the fruit is not mentioned in
the Holy Bible, we have to understand its effect and its name from the
qualities of the fruit according to the context. Here, we must grasp the first
words, which Satan uttered through the serpent, and he said to the woman “Has
God indeed said, “You shall not eat of every tree of the Garden?” If the woman,
who was the creation of the Lord, was fascinated by the sweet and aromatic
words of the serpent, what happened to the divinity which was in her?
Today the woman the house wife is suspecting her husband’s
behavior, ways, and nature according to the time and connection, and stays
alert towards him. If so, why did the first woman of the divine creation did not
have such knowledge? If we think about this, it is so surprising. We must feel
naturally in the matter of today’s woman, who is fully indulged in worldly
affair and sin, could not have the divinity completely. Not only the woman, but
the man also could not have the divinity completely. That means there is none,
who had the divinity completely.
Here onwards, let us know from the Holy Bible that the
Lord God created the decline stage to the creation by the fruit, which the
first couple ate. Because of eating the fruit, the earth quake is formed. The
eruption of volcano, the wiped out the creation by the floods, solar eclipse,
hot winds, sun stroke, typhoons, chill, cold, hail storm, polluted atmosphere,
etc ways, the nature is against to the man. Along with these the life span of
man is diminished from the hundreds. So, we lost our life within the multiples
of tens. Now these days, there is no particular determined time for the life
span. And there is no specified time for the death. The life span plays its
role on the earth that the death will happen on any day, any hour, and any
moment. The reason for this is the effect of the fruit only.
Let it pass, suppose we forbid the fruit and get rid of
it, we have already declined to such a stage that we are bound to live basing
on the fruit from the birth until the death. The nature and the man are
against each other by this fruit only. The man and the divine creation are
against each other. That means, wild animals like cheetah, leopard, lion ,
bear, wolf, etc., wild beasts like elephant, bison, rhinoceros, etc., all
cattle, birds, serpents, scorpion, centipede, etc., all these are against to
the man and they harms the man to bring death. The man hunt, kill and eat
finally some of them, is also the result of the fruit only.
Like this, the fruit created against to the Lord God,
made the man to forget the divinity completely. If we read Romans 1:18-31, we
know the down fall of the man the effect of the fruit. But, the effect of this
fruit did not leave the man completely. So, the Lord God, who gave the command
not to eat, took the fault of the forbidden fruit on His behalf and incarnated
Himself in this world as the medicine.
“Most assuredly, I say to you he who hears my word and
believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into
judgment, but has passed from death into life” ......John 5:24.
“Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal
life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is food indeed,
and My blood is drink in indeed” ......John 6:54-55.
“And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness,
even so must the Son of Man be lifted up” .......John 3:14
Luke 19:10, “For the Son of Man has come to seek and to
save that which was lost”.
Thus, the Lord God came to this world in the form of the
Lord Jesus Christ to nullify the effect of the fruit, which the first couple
ate by the Satan.
While the Son of the Lord God,
Jesus Christ, who fulfilled in this way, showing the effect of the fruit on His
own flesh as the example to us. He experienced the sorrow, which we ought to
the experienced. He experienced the punishment, which we ought to be
experienced. He died, which we ought to die for our sake. Thus, He proved that
the fruit, which the Lord God forbidden, is the cause of death. Whoever
believes the Lord Christ and follows in His path, even if he dies, will rise
from death as an example. The Lord Jesus rose from death and appeared to His
disciples.
Dear readers! The fruits, which He planted in the Garden
of Eden, are before us. The fruit, which the Lord God forbidden to eat is also
amongst us, but the name of this fruit, is hidden. If you say, is it not so?
How we are born from the first couple? According to the curse of the Lord in
those days, the man toils until the sweat of his face to plough the earth now
also. According to the curse of the Lord the woman have the labor pains.
According to the curse of the Lord, she gives birth to the children. The
Serpent, which was cursed in those days, lost some main parts, i.e. legs and
wings, and lives in the dust hills and crawls on its belly. Today the tree of
life, which the Lord God planted amidst the Garden of Eden, is living in the
house of every believer among the people in the form of the Gospel. If these
are, why does the tree of knowledge of good and evil not exist which the Lord
God commanded that you shall not eat of it? This also exists, but the name of
the tree of knowledge of good and evil is hidden.
So, this secret is great one from those days to the end
of these days, the secret of the tree of knowledge of good and evil is working
in every man’s worldly life in both ways i.e. secretly and openly. The man,
who merged with the nature through this deed, is closer to the creation and
aloof from the Almighty. The man, who aloof from the Almighty the Lord God,
merged in the creation, and changed the knowledge of the creation and its deeds
to the knowledge of science; and he himself is spoiling his spiritual life. For
this reason, the fury of the Lord God went out and created the calamities, hail
storms, earth quakes, etc., natural misfortunes.
The first man, Adam lost the fertility of the earth and
the crop from that fertility, which the Lord God favored us. Thus, the man is
experiencing the artificial fertilized crop that is harmful to the health. With
this sickness, his life span is reduced more than the life span, which the Lord
God gave to Him. For this reason, the body of the man is debilitated and is
subjected to the untimely deaths. Thus, even though the effect of fruit, which
the Lord God forbidden to the man, is whatever may be, the abominable deed
which the first couple did by eating the forbidden fruit is the reason for the
reduced life span, the calamities of the nature, and the existence of the body.
Dear readers! Our ancestors experienced the fruits of
the earth which was from the natural fertility. And also, they lived on the
earth for long times. There were so many people, who lived between one hundred twenty-five
years to one hundred fifty years in our ancestors. This is the effect of the
fruit from the natural fertility, which the Lord God favored. And also, they
lived without sickness in any of their parts of the body, white hair, decayed
teeth, the wrinkled skin, loss of vision, loss of hearing, joint problems,
etc., until their death. If I say in one word, they experienced the complete
health which the Lord God favored to us. If we think about ourselves or our
children, who are living in today’s era, they are subjected to the weakness in
the body i.e., the loss of vision, headache, toothache, caries of teeth, etc.
The reason for this is the artificial crops and their products. Now a day,
everything is artificial. The crop is artificial; the fruits and milk are also
artificial. The cooking methods are also artificial. Now a day, the man is
using the gas and electric stoves, instead of wood and charcoal. In these
days, the man is using the vehicles for traveling. It is rare to go anywhere by
walk. The vehicles, which are used for traveling, are many, so the atmosphere
is also polluted. Along with them, the impure material is mingled in the oil,
and the cool drinks. These all are the implements for the reduced life span of
the man.
The surprise is, the history of human beings tells us
that the man lived hundreds of years without knowing the preparation and usage
of the cigarettes, alcohol, black powder, etc. After knowing the preparation
and usage of these materials, man is subjected to the misfortunes i.e.
diabetes, hyper tension, cancer, heart strokes, etc.
Dear readers! There were no misfortunes like the above
in Adam and His sons. Abraham, who was devotional fear in the Lord, had long
life through his faith and made his life-span, which the Lord given to him,
fruitful. From this, Abraham became the father of faith, but he did not become
the father of the bhang or drunkard. Likewise, Isaac, the son of Abraham
desired the meat, but not the alcoholic drinks. All of them experienced the
fruit of the promise of the Lord in their life and their history is vivid to
us. If we, as the race of present Era, are not in a position to live at least
100 years. The reason for this is not the Lord and the trespasses and sins done
by Adam and Eve. But, we must grasp that the reason for this is the one, who
thinks the divine knowledge is the mad by neglecting the Lord.
From this, the David explains in Psalms 90:3, and said,
“You turn man to destruction, and say, “Return, O children of men.” According
to the verse written by the Musician David in Psalms 90:3, the children of men
i.e. the human beings must go near the Lord God again.
It is binding for everyone.
But, there is a method for the human beings to return.
The man must return with the divine knowledge by
utilizing the life span given to him by the Lord God. And also, man must
return as the newly born infant in obedience, righteousness and purity by
leaving the knowledge of the tree of good and evil. The Lord Jesus Christ also
said about this in His teachings, said,
“Assuredly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the
kingdom of God as a little child will by no means enter it” .... Mark 10:15.
Thus, the Lord God wants the knowledge of little child
from us. The thief on the cross behaved with this knowledge in the proximity
of the Lord. The queen Esther also did pray with this knowledge along with her
maid servants, and made the Jews her nation to relieve from the clutches of
death.
So, we must return with the
knowledge of little child by leaving the knowledge of the tree of knowledge of
good and evil. Amen.
God punished Earth! Satan walked free!
Dear readers! It is written in
Genesis 3:1-20 about the entry of the sin and the curses which the Lord God
gave to the Serpent, Eve, Adam and earth clearly. But, the Lord God punished
the serpent, because the serpent made Eve to violate the divine command by
telling a lie and by deceiving her. So, the punishment, which the Lord God
gave to the Serpent, is justifiable. Thereafter, the Lord punished Eve,
because Eve should not have violated the command of the Lord whoever forced
her. But, she was deluded the words of Satan through the Serpent and violated
the divine command and ate the forbidden fruit of the Lord. This punishment is
also justifiable. Thereafter, the Lord God punished Adam, because he ate the
forbidden fruit of the Lord by yielding to the attraction of the beauty of
Eve. Thus, this punishment is also justifiable.
Dear readers! There after The Lord God punished the
earth. Let us know it is justifiable or not. Why did the Lord God punish the
earth? But, The Satan made Eve to violate the divine command through the
serpent. But, why did the Lord God not punish the Satan? We see through these verses;
the Lord God looks as though He is partial to the Satan and enemy to the
earth. Let us know how far it is justifiable.
Dear readers! The reason “The Lord God did not punish
the Satan” is, He gave the chance to the Satan to enter in the Garden of Eden.
It means the Lord God Himself created a work to the Satan to tempt them. So,
The Lord God did not punish the Satan, because the Garden of Eden is holy one.
There is no place for unholy things in the Garden of Eden. So, The Lord God
drove out the unholy Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. But, how did it
happen that an unholy Satan gets entry in the holy Garden of Eden? Here, we are
bound to accept that the Lord God would have given the chance to the Satan. If
not, there was no chance. Here, let us know through the example. In the history
of Job, the Satan came to the proximity of the Lord from going to and fro on
the earth, and from walking back and forth on it. But, The Lord God mentioned
about Job to the Satan. Then Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear
God for nothing?” Have You not made a hedge around him, around his house hold,
and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his
hands, and his possessions have increased in the land. But now, stretch out
your hand and touch all that he has, and he will surely curse You to Your face!
So, the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is
in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person”.
In this way, the Lord God handed Job to the Satan;
Likewise, The Lord God gave second chance to the Satan
in the matter of Job by handing the body of him, except his life. But, here
Job did not yield to the Satan. He gets victory over the temptation. Likewise,
the Satan entered in the holy Garden of Eden according the chance that the Lord
God gave to him and tempted Eve and Adam. This temptation happened through the
command of The Lord only. So, the Lord God did not punish the Satan.
Dear readers! Why did the Lord God
punish the earth? 1st reason: - Adam was formed from the dust of the ground
i.e. the earth. And Adam violated the command of the Lord God by eating the
forbidden fruit and made his body a cursed one. So, the dust in the body of
Adam was cursed one. This dust came out from the earth only. So, the Lord God
cursed the earth. The second reason: - The fruit of the tree of knowledge of
good and evil was formed from the ground only i.e. from the earth.
The third reason: - The Lord God
punished Adam. So, if it is to be fulfilled, the earth ought not to give her
fertility. So, the Lord God said, “Cursed is the ground for your sake”.
......Genesis 3:17.
Dear readers! The Lord God punished the earth because of
above mentioned reasons and left Satan unfinished as he followed His command.
Amen.
Where was God, when Satan was deceiving Eve?
Dear readers! We are bound to
accept a matter that how far we are grown up as the Christians among the
Christianity which spread in this world; we are still living in clueless
stage. It is very rare to find great scholars who digested the Holy Bible
completely.
Dear readers! So many religious
scrolls in the world are formed with different descriptions and with human
knowledge by arranging different kinds of images of the gods and goddesses.
These scriptures are of the fiction stories of these images. But, the scroll,
the Holy Bible was not written with the knowledge of human being in this way.
The Lord God prophesied through the prophets whom He had chosen and made them
to write the Scripture.
The history of the prophets in the
Old Testament and the Apostles in the New Testaments explains us clearly how
the Holy Bible was written. From this, the authors of the Old Testament are
called the prophets. And the authors of the New Testament are called the
Apostles. It is impossible to grasp the hidden secrets in the books written by
the Apostles and Prophets without carrying the Spirit of the Lord i.e. the Holy
Spirit.
Dear readers! If we understand the
history of the Garden of Eden completely, it is possible to understand the Holy
Bible completely. Whatever may be, let us go to our original topic, “In the
beginning, was not the Lord God there, when the Satan spoke with Eve in the
Garden of Eden? Truly, this question confuses the believers. The answer to this
is, the Lord God was before the woman. How was the Lord God before the woman?
It is written,
“And out of the ground the Lord God
made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree
of life was also in the midst of the Garden, and the tree of the knowledge of
good and evil” ....in the Genesis 2:9.
From this, the Lord God kept two
covenants before the couple in the Garden of Eden to test them.
1. To live forever in divinity –
The Tree of Life
2. To enter in everlasting death -
The tree of the knowledge of good and evil i.e. the tree of death.
“See, I have set before you today
life and good, death and evil” .... Deuteronomy 30:15.
The tree of life is the fore symbol
for the Lord Christ. So, The Lord God who was in the form of the Lord Christ
i.e. the tree of life was before Eve, when she was tempted by the Satan through
the serpent.
How could serpent know about the forbidden fruit?
Now the serpent was more subtil
than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the
woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And
the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the
garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God
hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And
the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know
that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be
as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good
for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to
make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto
her husband with her; and he did eat. - Genesis 3:1-6 KJV
Dear readers! Even though it
appears to us that the serpent spoke to Eve, the one, who spoke to Eve, was the
Satan only. In which way, the Satan gets the permission from the Lord God in
the matter of Job as in Job 1:1-2:9, in the same way the Satan gets the permission
from the Lord God to tempt Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. So, the Lord
gave the complete message about the Garden of Eden to the Satan. So, when the
Satan entered in the Garden of Eden, he knew about the forbidden fruit tree.
But, the Satan entered in the serpent and said to Eve as the unknown person,
“Has God indeed said, “You shall not eat of every tree of the Garden?” That
much only, the serpent did not know about the forbidden fruit of the tree of
knowledge of good and evil.
What is the motive for the Satan using serpent, instead of speaking invisibly?
Genesis 3:1-6
Dear readers! The Satan, who thinks
in advance, was a tempter. So, Paul also says that it is very hard to know the
way of the Satan’s temptation. So, the Satan, who thinks in advance, thought
that suppose if he speaks to Eve in invisible form, they would have doubts
about why the Lord God said, “Not to eat”, before, and why the Lord Said, “To
eat”, now. And also, the Satan grasped that Adam and Eve may argue with him
about the forbidden fruit, because they think that the one, who spoke with them
in invisible form, is the Lord God. So, the Satan entered in the serpent,
instead of staying invisible, and tempted the Eve through the serpent.
The fruits of the tree of life
Revelation 2:7 “To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the
tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God”
As written in the Genesis
2:9, God had sown this tree of life in the Eden Garden towards east. We also
read that along with this tree, he had sown another tree which would give the
knowledge of the good and the evil. One was divine while the other was
pertained to this material world. Though the first man was a complement of
divine spirit, his body was worldly, and so he lived in such a way that he
could not know the hidden secrets of the tree of life. The human doesn’t seem
to have been in at least the premises of that tree. But, the Satan who was the
leader of the world, approached the spouse, the helper of the man and preached
in relation with the world, presenting the God as a liar, with his crookedly
tactics made the man eat the fruit that gave the knowledge of the good and the
evil and was victorious in performing this deed. This victory of the Satan
evolved as deadly to the man. Through this, the man had acquired the accursed
death. Then, what happened to this Tree of Life in the Garden of Eden? How did
this Tree of Life come into this Paradise? This question may arise in us. God
is not biased to anyone. He would not harm or do injustice to anyone in any
circumstances. Swing that, instead of eating the fruits of the tree of life,
the man had eaten the forbidden fruit, God had given an immense thought, he had
foreseen that the man can eat the fruits of the tree of life with the knowledge
of the good and the evil, the man who had joined hands with the Serpent, with
the world, with the fruit of earth would never hinder in performing any sort of
deeds and obstructed the way to the tree of life with the flaming sword. This
means that he had created such a condition that man cannot reach it. Due to the
specific protection that the God had given to that tree of life in those days
the human being is unable to find it even today.
Then, what
about this Tree of Life? Who had observed it so far? This fact is still hidden
even today. Then where is this Tree of Life now? There aren’t any evidences in
the history to prove that it is removed from the Garden of Eden. After
expelling the first human couple from the Eden, the God had foreseen that they
would eat the fruit and acquire the life forever, on the way to the Tree of
Life; he had installed the flaming swords of life to guard and obstruct them.
In this way, he could prevent them approaching even the premises of that tree. And
in real, what is this Tree of Life? What is the glory in it? How did it exist?
Why was it sown? Why is great care taken to keep its existence a secret from
man? This knowledge is not in reach of the thought and wisdom of a man and his
spiritual state. This reveals that the human being is not even giving a thought
at all about the state and condition of the tree of life or its fruits or any
knowledge about it, and limited himself with only the consumption of the fruits
of the good and the evil leading his life with the knowledge of discrimination
of this material world which is bestowed by this fruit. We must know that the
eating of the forbidden fruit that day had bestowed the knowledge of the good
and the evil of life pertaining to this world, to the people of this generation
also.
But, this
Tree of Life is like a model to the Lord Christ. Because, in his preaching he
said, “If they do these things in the green wood, what would be to the dry?”
comparing himself to a tree. “I am the true Vine, and My Father is a
Vinedresser.” In the same way, he is comparing the believer to the grape vine,
the climbers, and asking them to wind up to himself and produce the divine
fruits. He preached, he who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruits.”
Revealing about himself to the world, the Lord Christ says, John 6:41 “The Jews then murmured at him, because he said, I am
the bread which came down from heaven.” John 6:50-51 “This is the bread which cometh down from heaven, that a man
may eat thereof, and not die.
I am the living
bread which came down from heaven: if any man eats of this bread, he shall live
forever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the
life of the world.” These verses reveal that he is comparing himself to a tree.
Isaiah 53:2 “For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as
a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall
see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. “Even in the Song of Solomon and Genesis 49:11, he
is written as the vine.
To give life
to the useless lives like ours, unprofitable i.e., dried up trees transform
into green living sprouting trees and fruits, the lord God possesses the
necessary power and the essence and effect and resurrection and thus it is
reasonable to consider him as the tree of life. We find numerous species in the
world and every tree requires water and food to survive. In the same way, the
human life is exactly the life of a tree. If the man transgressed the god’s
order by eating the forbidden fruit, the human being is just like a tree. The
attitude of human is like that of a tree. The wisdom of a man is the wisdom of
a tree. So, the Lord Christ who was the son of God had compared himself to a
tree. He is preaching the people that he is a vine and the people must survive
by getting grafted with the tree of life named the Lord Jesus. He is preaching
them to be fruitful through him. John 15:4 “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch, cannot bear
fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide
in me.” So, if we all believe in the Lord Jesus are got grafted with the tree
of life of named the Lord Jesus and be united with him are related to him, we
will have peace and conciliation in our families and have the lives eligible
for the divinity. Spiritually, we understand that every human is like a tree.
If we think deeply about this, John who had offered baptism to the Lord Jesus
said, referring to those who approached him to embrace baptism, Matthew 3:10
“And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: therefore, every tree
which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.” So,
every tree which doesn’t bear good fruit is cut and thrown into the fire. This
means that they would part take the death of the fiery lake of burning Sulphur.
So, even John who had
offered baptism to the Lord Jesus also compared the human who was not in the
life which can’t bear the spiritual fruit eligible for the divinity to a tree
that was ready to be cut. The astonishing fact is that, as the human possesses
life so do the trees. Even the trees possess various parts similar to humans,
like branches, stems, twigs, leaves, fruits ripe and unripe, buds etc., Just
how the human possesses mobility though stands firm with roots, it would sway
in the air and glorifies with greenery. It gives shelter to various creatures.
It shadows every creature under it which suffers in the singeing hot sun and
offers them relaxation.
According to the boons of
wisdom that the lord had bestowed to us, according to the air, light, food, the
spiritual Lord’s supper and drink and Lord’s water of prayers, we who are
living in the relation to the earth, we would develop as those related to the
spirit and make the fruits of the spirits fruitful. But, we are making the
fruits of our bodies fruitful in relation to this earth. But, there are fruits
of spirits or spiritual fruits. About the fruits of body, it is given in the Galatians
5:19-22 “Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these;
Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry,
witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envying, murders,
drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I
have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not
inherit the kingdom of God.
But the fruit of
the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith.”
The trees do not possess the fruits of body and spiritual fruits as a man
possesses. Because, the trees do not possess spirits and so do not possess
spirits they follow the seasons and perform their deeds accordingly and would
give us the fruits as bestowed by God. But, a human being is completely
different from this. The human being is not following the strict rules and
regulations and is leading a life viewing the divinity, the worldly society,
the humanity and the gibberish equally. This is a wasteful life. it means a
lukewarm life. Such life is ineligible for the society and the divinity. And so,
the man is a useless for the society and is declined to the state of curse for
the divinity.
Though the
Tree of Life or the fruit of the Tree of Life do not exist among us in live,
the tree exists invisible. The fruits of the trees or the effects of those
fruits still exist in the humans performing everlasting deeds. Who is the one
that observed this? The tree which was sown by God himself in the Garden of
Eden practically got invisible due to the transgression of the man, and now
exists among the humans as a moving as a living tree and is giving vision in
the form of the Lord Christ. The human being who had eaten this earthly
quiescent fruit, as he could not observe the former half meaning of this tree
of life, it was severed by human beings and due to all these, today, in the
hearts of every believer, the seed of this tree is sprouted out. Its influence
alone is the pervading of Gospel. That seed alone is the verse of the God. The
place where it is sown is the heart of every believer.
Ephesians 4:6
“One God and Father of all, who is over all and
through all and in all.” In saying so, as the seed of the tree of life must be
present sown in us and not in the Paradise that exist high above the mountains,
in the form of the Gospel, the seed of this tree of life is sown in the heart
of every believer.
But,
then, the Lord had promised that he would allow the victorious eat the fruits
of the tree of life. But then, Revelation 22:1-2 “Then the angel showed me the
river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God
and of the Lamb, down the middle of the great street of the
city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of
fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the
healing of the nations.” According to this verse, this is the base that this
exists in the Paradise. These deserve to be the food for the Spirits.
Entry of Sin! Was it from Adam or before Adam?
Romans
5:12 “Just as sin entered the world through one man, and death resulted from
sin, therefore everyone dies, because everyone has sinned”. So, sin entered in
to this world due to Adam’s denial of following God’s command. Were there any
sinners before Adam on this earth? No, not in humans because Adam was the first
human. But bible says that there was sin before Adam in angels as per 2 Peter
2:4” For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but threw them into the
lowest hell and imprisoned them in chains of deepest darkness, holding them for
judgment “. From this we can understand that the angels were the first one to
sin because heaven and angels are created before earth. Also, you can read in
first chapter that this was one of the reason for extracting earth from waters
which was used as punishment place for fallen angels.
What
may be the reason for angels to sin as they are not married or given in
marriage, there is no fornication and they had everything they need? Mark 12:23
“In the resurrection, when they rise again, which one’s wife will she be? For
all seven had married her.” Jesus said to them, “Is this not the reason you are
mistaken, that you do not understand the Scriptures or the power of God? “For
when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but
are like angels in heaven.” The root cause of sin in angels as well as humans
is the ingratitude. We need to be thankful to God for all the blessings given
instead we can see that some worship idols, demons and some say there is no
God. Same thing happened among angels, God has given them all the powers to see
and experience wonderful creation of God. All He wanted from them is a little
gratitude and a share of love in their enjoyment. Instead they revolted against
God with a great proud. We can read about Lucifer’s proud and his fall in
Isaiah 14:12-15 “you have fallen from heaven, morning star, son of the dawn!
You have been cast down to the earth, you who once laid low the nations! You
said in your heart, "I will ascend to the heavens; I will raise my throne
above the stars of God; I will sit enthroned on the mount of assembly, on the
utmost heights of Mount Zaphon. I will ascend above the tops of the clouds; I
will make myself like the Most High." But you are brought down to the
realm of the dead, to the depths of the pit”
Also,
Luke 17:17-19 says that 9 out of 10 cured of leprosy did not express their
gratitude. What happens to those who don’t express their gratitude towards God
is explained in Hosea 2:8-10 “She has not acknowledged that I was the one who
gave her the grain, the new wine and oil, who lavished on her the silver and
gold which they used for Baal. “Therefore, I will take away my grain when it
ripens, and my new wine when it is ready. I will take back my wool and my
linen, intended to cover her naked body. So now I will expose her lewdness
before the eyes of her lovers; no one will take her out of my hands.
Perceiving
God’s existence and his power is very easy says Romans 1:19-22 “since what may
be known about God is plain to them, because God has made it plain to them. For
since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power
and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been
made, so that people are without excuse. For although they knew God, they
neither glorified him as God nor gave thanks to him, but their thinking became
futile and their foolish hearts were darkened. Although they claimed to be
wise, they became fools”.
We
can understand that the root cause of sin is ingratitude. So, dear readers,
please do not forget to say thanks and praises to God for all that you have
received.
The crown of life
“For You have made him a little
lower than the angels, and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have
made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things
under his feet” ......Psalms 8:5-8.
Dear readers! The Lord God formed
the man in His image according to His likeness, and clothed them with glorified
white robes. At the same time, He gave the crown of life to him. The crown of
life is one privilege. We can read about the people who are crowned in the
visions of John in Revelation 4:4, 9:7, 12:3, 13:1, 19:12, 2:10, 3:11, 4:10,
6:2, etc. From this, what do we know? We know that the crowns are in the heaven.
These crowns are the privileges, which the Lord God gave to the man. These
crowns give the information to us about their high position in the heaven.
Dear readers! When did the Lord, God give the crown of
life to Adam? And when did Adam lose the crown of life? Let us know about
these now.
“For You have made him a little lower than the angels,
and You have crowned him with glory and honor. You have made him to have
dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet”
.......Psalms 8:5-8.
In this verse, the Lord God gave one crown to the man as
the authority over His work. This crown is the crown of Life. The one, who
have this crown of life, lives forever.
Dear readers! When Adam and Eve violated the command of
the Lord and entered in to the sin, in the same day, they got the spiritual
death by losing the glorified white robes and the crown of life. But, how do
we get the crown of life again? Each and every Christian can easily give answer
to this question.
“You will have tribulation ten days. Be faithful until
death, and I will give you the crown of life” ......Revelation 2:10.
“Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he
has been proved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised
