Question 15 - Are the disciples of Lord Jesus murderers?

Luke 14:26 NKJV - "If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple."

1 John 3:15 NKJV - "Whoever hates his brother is a murderer, and you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him."

Inference in the question: - If you do not hate, he will not be the disciple of Christ. In another place, it is written that whoever hates his brother without love is a murderer and he has no eternal life in him. Are the disciples of the Lord Jesus murderers?

Answer:

                Romans 7:14, this is the teaching about the spirit. The one, who says, “My children, my wife, my house, my field, etc,” was slave to the sin. So, he is selfish one.

                The man must be obedient to his father and mother. But, the father and mother come across to the divine faith of his son and disgusts by saying, “Why are you wasting time with useless faith? Did you do this work or that work?” Also there are so many fathers and mothers, who make their sons and daughters to do false deeds, i.e., false weighing, black marketing, etc.

                Our eternal destiny is in Christ because He is the way of eternal life no one can find this way without Christ, is there anything in this world is worth to love if you are not in Christ? You are already dead if you are not in Christ, that’s the reason Jesus reminds us in Luke 9:60 “Let the dead bury their dead”. Is there any use of dead person to his family? So first live in Christ and show the way to your family and bring them to life.

                So the inference to Luke 14:26, we have to put God before everything and reject (hate) everyone who is obstacle to eternal destiny. Even Jesus rebuked Peter when he obstructed God’s plan Mat 16:23 “But he turned, and said to Peter, Get you behind me, Satan: you are an offense to me: for you mind not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.”

                The Lord Christ favored everlasting life to the thief, who was crucified on the cross. So, the one who can give everlasting life even to the murderer is the Lord Christ only.
